فيما كشف الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترمب، اليوم (الثلاثاء)، استعداده لشن ضربات متكررة على المنشآت النووية الإيرانية «إذا لزم الأمر»، لوّح رئيس الأركان الإسرائيلي إيال زامير، بأن «المعركة مع إيران لم تنتهِ بعد». وجدد ترمب التأكيد على أن البرنامج النووي الإيراني «تضرر بشدة»، وإن على وسائل الإعلام التي شككت في قوة الضربات الأمريكية «الاعتذار».
وكتب ترمب في موقع «تروث سوشيال»: «وزير الخارجية الإيراني عباس عراقجي يتحدث عن المنشآت النووية الإيرانية: «الأضرار بالغة، لقد دُمرت».. هذا ما قلته بالطبع، وسنكرره إذا لزم الأمر».
وجاء تهديد ترمب بعد أن أقر عراقجي لقناة «فوكس نيوز» الأمريكية، بتوقف البرنامج النووي الإيراني حاليّاً بسبب الأضرار الجسيمة التي لحقت به جراء القصف الإسرائيلي والأمريكي، مشدداً على أن بلاده لن تتخلّى عن تخصيب اليورانيوم، وأن بلاده غير مستعدة للشروع في مفاوضات مع الولايات المتحدة بشأن البرنامج النووي حاليّاً.
من جانبه، لوح رئيس الأركان الإسرائيلي إيال زامير، بأن «المعركة مع إيران لم تنتهِ بعد».
وقال زامير خلال جلسة تقدير موقف دوري لكل الساحات والجبهات بمشاركة أعضاء هيئة الأركان العامة وأعضاء الركن العملياتي «نضع إيران ومحورها نصب أعيننا، المعركة معها لم تنتهِ بعد». واعتبر أن 2026 سيكون عام الجاهزية وتصميم الواقع واستنفاد الإنجازات واستعادة الكفاءة والعودة إلى الأسس وانتهاز الفرص العملياتية.
ووصف زامير الحرب في قطاع غزة بأنها من أكثر المعارك التي خاضها الجيش الإسرائيلي تعقيداً.
وأضاف: «حققنا إنجازات كبيرة جدّاً وتستمر قيادة المنطقة الجنوبية في الإشراف على العمل بواسطة ألوية عاملة واحتياطية تنشط على أساس يومي هجوماً ودفاعاً. وندفع أثماناً باهظة في القتال، سنستمر في العمل على تحقيق أهدافنا: إعادة المختطفين وإسقاط حماس».
وأكد أنه يجب على الجيش الإسرائيلي أن يبقى على أهبة الاستعداد لاستمرار معركة شاملة وواسعة النطاق، مع التعامل مع واقع متعدد الأبعاد ومليء بالتحديات يفرض على الجيش العمل بجبهات عدة.

Today (Tuesday), U.S. President Donald Trump revealed his readiness to launch repeated strikes on Iranian nuclear facilities "if necessary," while Israeli Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir hinted that "the battle with Iran is not over yet." Trump reiterated that the Iranian nuclear program has "suffered severely," and that the media, which doubted the strength of the U.S. strikes, should "apologize."
Trump wrote on his platform "Truth Social": "Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi talks about Iranian nuclear facilities: 'The damage is severe, they have been destroyed'... This is what I said, of course, and we will repeat it if necessary."
Trump's threat came after Araghchi acknowledged to Fox News that the Iranian nuclear program is currently halted due to the severe damage inflicted by Israeli and American bombings, emphasizing that his country will not abandon uranium enrichment and is not ready to engage in negotiations with the United States regarding the nuclear program at this time.
For his part, Israeli Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir hinted that "the battle with Iran is not over yet."
Zamir stated during a regular situational assessment session for all theaters and fronts with the participation of members of the General Staff and operational staff, "We keep Iran and its axis in our sights; the battle with them is not over yet." He considered that 2026 will be the year of readiness, shaping reality, exhausting achievements, restoring efficiency, returning to fundamentals, and seizing operational opportunities.
Zamir described the war in the Gaza Strip as one of the most complex battles the Israeli army has fought.
He added: "We have achieved very significant accomplishments, and the Southern Command continues to oversee operations through active and reserve brigades that operate daily in both attack and defense. We are paying a heavy price in combat; we will continue to work towards our goals: bringing back the captives and dismantling Hamas."
He emphasized that the Israeli army must remain on high alert for the continuation of a comprehensive and large-scale battle, while dealing with a multi-dimensional reality filled with challenges that require the army to operate on multiple fronts.
