فيما بدأت قوات وزارة الداخلية والأمن السورية اليوم (السبت) الانتشار في محافظة السويداء جنوب البلاد لتنفيذ المرحلة الأولى من اتفاق وقف إطلاق النار من خلال فض الاشتباك بين المجموعات المسلحة وقوات العشائر البدوية، تمهيداً لاستعادة الاستقرار والإفراج عن المعتقلين وإخلاء المحتجزين، نقلت وكالة الأنباء السورية (سانا) عن مصدر في وزارة الإعلام السورية أن قوات وزارة الداخلية والأمن العام بدأت انتشارها في محافظة السويداء، بهدف تنفيذ المرحلة الأولى من تفاهمات وقف إطلاق النار، وذلك عبر فضّ الاشتباك بين المجموعات المسلحة داخل السويداء وقوات العشائر العربية، تمهيداً لاستعادة الاستقرار والإفراج عن المعتقلين وإخلاء المحتجزين.
وأوضح المصدر أنه تم تشكيل لجنة طوارئ تضم وزارات وهيئات حكومية متعددة، تتولى تسريع إدخال المساعدات الإنسانية والطبية اللازمة، إلى جانب توفير الخدمات الأساسية، وإصلاح البنية التحتية، بما يلبي الاحتياجات العاجلة ويعزز التهدئة، وذلك ضمن المرحلة الثانية من تطبيق تفاهمات وقف إطلاق النار بالتعاون مع الوسطاء.
ولفت إلى أن المرحلة الثالثة ستبدأ بعد تثبيت التهدئة، وتشمل تفعيل مؤسسات الدولة، وانتشار عناصر الأمن الداخلي بشكل تدريجي ومنظّم في مختلف أرجاء المحافظة، بما يتماشى مع التوافقات التي جرى التوصل إليها سابقاً، ويضمن سيادة القانون تحت مظلة الدولة.
في الوقت ذاته، أعلن المتحدث باسم وزارة الداخلية السورية نور الدين البابا أن انتشار قوات الأمن الداخلي في السويداء هدفه الإشراف على انسحاب المسلحين، كخطوة أولى لتأمين المساعدات داخل المحافظة، وإعادة الأمن وسيادة القانون، وعودة مؤسسات الدولة.
في غضون ذلك، عقد نائب رئيس الوزراء وزير الخارجية وشؤون المغتربين الأردني أيمن الصفدي، ووزير الخارجية والمغتربين السوري أسعد الشيباني، والمبعوث الأمريكي إلى سورية توماس براك اليوم مباحثات ثلاثية تناولت الأوضاع في سورية، وجهود تثبيت وقف إطلاق النار في محافظة السويداء، حقناً للدم السوري وحفاظاً على سلامة المواطنين، بحسب وكالة الأنباء السورية (بترا). وأكّد الصفدي وبراك دعمهما لاتفاق وقف إطلاق النار وجهود الحكومة السورية المُستهدفة تطبيقه، وشددا على وقوف المملكة والولايات المتحدة، وتضامنهما الكامل مع سورية وأمنها واستقرارها وسيادتها، وسلامة ووحدة أراضيها ومواطنيها، وعلى أن أمن سورية واستقرارها ركيزة لاستقرار المنطقة.
واتفق الصفدي والشيباني وبراك على خطوات عملانية تستهدف دعم سورية في تنفيذ الاتفاق، بما يضمن أمن واستقرار سورية، ويحمي المدنيين، ويضمن بسط سيادة الدولة وسيادة القانون على كل الأرض السورية.
وذكرت الوكالة الأردنية أن الخطوات العملانية تضمنت مواضيع تتعلق بتثبيت وقف إطلاق النار، ونشر قوات الأمن السورية في محافظة السويداء، وإطلاق سراح المُحتجزين لدى كل الأطراف، وجهود المصالحة المجتمعية في المحافظة، وتعزيز السلم الأهلي، وإدخال المساعدات الإنسانية.
ورحّب الصفدي وبراك بالتزام الحكومة السورية بمحاسبة كل المسؤولين عن التجاوزات بحق المواطنين السوريين في محافظة السويداء، ودعم الجهود المُستهدفة نبذ العنف والطائفية ومحاولات بث الفتنة والتحريض والكراهية.
وثمّن الشيباني دور وجهود المملكة والولايات المتحدة الأمريكية في التوصل إلى وقف إطلاق النار، وجهود تنفيذه، وضمان أمن واستقرار سورية وسلامة مواطنيها.
وفي سياق آخر، رحّبت المبعوثة البريطانية إلى سورية آن سنو بالاتفاق الذي تم التوصل إليه بشأن وقف إطلاق النار في محافظة السويداء، معتبرة أنه خطوة إيجابية نحو التهدئة في الجنوب السوري.
وقالت سنو في تغريدات على حسابها بـ«إكس»: إن التصريحات الداعمة العديدة التي رافقت هذا الاتفاق تعكس أهمية التوافق الدولي على حماية المدنيين واحتواء التصعيد، مضيفة: «من الجيد أنه تم الاتفاق على وقف إطلاق النار، وأرحب بالتصريحات الداعمة العديدة». وكتبت المبعوثة البريطانية: «من أجل جميع السوريين، من المهم الالتزام بوقف إطلاق النار وإنهاء دائرة العنف».
As the forces of the Syrian Ministry of Interior and Security began to deploy today (Saturday) in the southwestern province of Sweida to implement the first phase of the ceasefire agreement by disengaging between armed groups and tribal forces, paving the way for restoring stability, releasing detainees, and evacuating those held, the Syrian news agency (SANA) reported from a source in the Syrian Ministry of Information that the forces of the Ministry of Interior and Public Security started their deployment in the province of Sweida, aiming to implement the first phase of the ceasefire understandings by disengaging the armed groups within Sweida and the Arab tribal forces, paving the way for restoring stability, releasing detainees, and evacuating those held.
The source clarified that an emergency committee has been formed, comprising multiple ministries and governmental bodies, tasked with expediting the delivery of necessary humanitarian and medical aid, alongside providing essential services and repairing infrastructure to meet urgent needs and enhance the ceasefire, as part of the second phase of implementing the ceasefire understandings in cooperation with mediators.
He pointed out that the third phase will begin after stabilizing the ceasefire, which includes activating state institutions and the gradual and organized deployment of internal security forces throughout the province, in line with the agreements previously reached, ensuring the rule of law under the umbrella of the state.
At the same time, the spokesperson for the Syrian Ministry of Interior, Nour al-Din al-Baba, announced that the deployment of internal security forces in Sweida aims to oversee the withdrawal of militants as a first step to secure aid within the province, restore security and the rule of law, and return state institutions.
Meanwhile, Jordan's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Ayman Safadi, Syrian Foreign Minister and Expatriates Asaad al-Shibani, and the U.S. envoy to Syria Thomas Barak held trilateral talks today addressing the situation in Syria, efforts to stabilize the ceasefire in the province of Sweida, to stem Syrian bloodshed and ensure the safety of citizens, according to the Jordanian news agency (Petra). Safadi and Barak affirmed their support for the ceasefire agreement and the efforts of the Syrian government aimed at implementing it, emphasizing the full solidarity of the Kingdom and the United States with Syria, its security, stability, sovereignty, and the safety and unity of its territory and citizens, and that the security and stability of Syria are a cornerstone for the stability of the region.
Safadi, al-Shibani, and Barak agreed on operational steps aimed at supporting Syria in implementing the agreement, ensuring the security and stability of Syria, protecting civilians, and ensuring the state's sovereignty and the rule of law across all Syrian territory.
The Jordanian agency reported that the operational steps included topics related to stabilizing the ceasefire, deploying Syrian security forces in the province of Sweida, releasing detainees held by all parties, community reconciliation efforts in the province, enhancing civil peace, and delivering humanitarian aid.
Safadi and Barak welcomed the Syrian government's commitment to hold accountable all those responsible for violations against Syrian citizens in the province of Sweida, and support efforts aimed at renouncing violence, sectarianism, and attempts to incite discord and hatred.
Al-Shibani praised the role and efforts of the Kingdom and the United States in reaching a ceasefire, implementing it, and ensuring the security and stability of Syria and the safety of its citizens.
In another context, the British envoy to Syria, Anne Snow, welcomed the agreement reached regarding the ceasefire in the province of Sweida, considering it a positive step towards calming the situation in southern Syria.
Snow stated in tweets on her account on "X": The numerous supportive statements accompanying this agreement reflect the importance of international consensus on protecting civilians and containing escalation, adding: "It is good that a ceasefire has been agreed upon, and I welcome the many supportive statements." The British envoy wrote: "For all Syrians, it is important to adhere to the ceasefire and end the cycle of violence."
