أعلن مصدر في وزارة الداخلية السورية اليوم (الأربعاء)، التوصل لاتفاق لوقف إطلاق النار في السويداء ونشر حواجز أمنية في المدينة واندماجها الكامل ضمن الدولة السورية، بحسب وكالة الأنباء السورية (سانا).
من جهة أخرى، أكدت دار طائفة الموحدين الدروز في السويداء التوصل لاتفاق مع الحكومة يقضي بالاندماج الكامل للسويداء ضمن الدولة والتأكيد على سيادتها على كل المحافظة وتفعيل واستعادة كل مؤسساتها، كما يشدد الاتفاق على عودة المؤسسات كافة والعمل على ضمان كافة حقوق المواطنين وفق قوانين العدالة والمساواة.
وأوضح البيان أنه جرى الاتفاق على تشكيل لجنة لتقصي الحقائق والتحقيق في الانتهاكات التي حصلت وتعويض المتضررين وجبر الضرر، وتأمين طريق مشق ـ السويداء وضمان سلامة المواطنين من مهمات الدولة.
وشدد الاتفاق على انسحاب الجيش إلى ثكناته وتفعيل الأمن الداخلي وحواجزه من أبناء وضباط المحافظة الشرفاء.
وكانت الشرطة العسكرية في وزارة الدفاع قد أعلنت إيقاف أحد العناصر في مدينة السويداء بعد مخالفته القواعد واللوائح الخاصة بحسن التعامل مع الأهالي واحترام عاداتهم وتقاليدهم وعدم إهانتهم.
في غضون ذلك، نفت الأمم المتحدة الأنباء التي تداولتها بعض وسائل الإعلام عن إرسال وفد أممي إلى مدينة السويداء، وبحسب تصريحات لمكتب المنسق المقيم ومنسق الشؤون الإنسانية للأمم المتحدة في سورية، فإن الأمم المتحدة لم ترسل أي من هيئاتها وفداً أممياً إلى السويداء.
وقال مكتب المنسق: تُخطِّط الأمم المتحدة وشركاؤها الإنسانيون إلى إرسال وفد لتقييم الاحتياجات وتقديم المساعدات الضرورية، في أقرب وقت، ريثما تتهيأ الظروف المناسبة لذلك، وبالتنسيق الكامل مع السلطات المعنية، مجدداً دعوة الأمم المتحدة إلى استعادة الهدوء، وحماية المدنيين، ووقف التصعيد.
A source in the Syrian Ministry of Interior announced today (Wednesday) that an agreement has been reached for a ceasefire in Sweida and the establishment of security checkpoints in the city, as well as its full integration into the Syrian state, according to the Syrian News Agency (SANA).
On the other hand, the Druze Unified Community House in Sweida confirmed that an agreement has been reached with the government for the complete integration of Sweida into the state and the affirmation of its sovereignty over the entire governorate, as well as the activation and restoration of all its institutions. The agreement also emphasizes the return of all institutions and working to ensure all citizens' rights in accordance with the laws of justice and equality.
The statement clarified that an agreement was made to form a committee to investigate the violations that occurred and to compensate the affected individuals and remedy the damage, as well as to secure the Mashq-Sweida road and ensure the safety of citizens as part of the state's responsibilities.
The agreement stressed the withdrawal of the army to its barracks and the activation of internal security and checkpoints by the honorable sons and officers of the governorate.
The military police in the Ministry of Defense had announced the suspension of one of the personnel in the city of Sweida after violating the rules and regulations regarding proper conduct with the locals and respecting their customs and traditions, and not insulting them.
Meanwhile, the United Nations denied reports circulated by some media outlets about sending a UN delegation to the city of Sweida. According to statements from the office of the resident coordinator and the UN humanitarian coordinator in Syria, the UN has not sent any of its bodies a UN delegation to Sweida.
The coordinator's office stated: The UN and its humanitarian partners are planning to send a delegation to assess needs and provide necessary assistance as soon as conditions allow, in full coordination with the relevant authorities, reiterating the UN's call for restoring calm, protecting civilians, and halting escalation.
