دانت الأمانة العامة لجامعة الدول العربية بأشد العبارات خططاً إسرائيلية تم تداولها أخيراً تهدف لحشر الفلسطينيين في مخيم صغير في جنوب قطاع غزة، مشددة على أن خطة الاحتلال التي تزعم إنشاء «مدينة إنسانية» لا تمت للمدينة أو الإنسانية بأدنى صلة.
وأكدت الجامعة العربية -في بيان لها اليوم (الثلاثاء) على أن الخطة الإسرائيلية الجديدة «مرفوضة شكلاً وموضوعاً» وتعكس مستوى جديداً من «الانحدار الأخلاقي والقيمي للاحتلال»، وتكشف عن نية لمواصلة مخطط التطهير العرقي، وإعادة احتلال قطاع غزة وربما تهيئته لنشر المستوطنات.
وناشدت الأمانة العامة للجامعة العربية المجتمع الدولي التصدي بقوة لمثل هذه المُخططات اللا إنسانية، والتي تعيد للأذهان ذكرى أحداث سوداء شهدها القرن العشرون وكان المتصور أن العالم قد تجاوزها، مؤكدة أن المطلوب الآن هو التوصل في أسرع وقت لاتفاق لوقف إطلاق النار، وتوقف إسرائيل عن وضع العصى في العجلات والمماطلة واختراع العقبة تلو العقبة للتهرب من استحقاق وقف إطلاق النار.
وتأتي الخطة الإسرائيلية لإقامة مخيم في جنوب قطاع غزة في سياق تصاعد التوترات الإقليمية والصراع المستمر في القطاع، وتهدف الخطة، التي كشفت عنها تقارير إعلامية إسرائيلية إلى نقل حوالى 600 ألف فلسطيني من منطقة المواصي إلى مخيم محصور بين محوري «فيلادلفيا» و«موراج» جنوبي القطاع، تحت ذريعة إنشاء «مدينة إنسانية».
وتتضمن الخطة، التي أعلن عنها وزير الدفاع الإسرائيلي يسرائيل كاتس، إخضاع الفلسطينيين لفحوصات أمنية صارمة قبل نقلهم إلى المخيم، مع منع خروجهم منه لاحقاً، ووصفت الجامعة العربية هذه الخطة بأنها «تطهير عرقي» و«إعادة احتلال» للقطاع.
The General Secretariat of the Arab League condemned in the strongest terms the Israeli plans recently circulated that aim to confine Palestinians to a small camp in the southern Gaza Strip, emphasizing that the occupation's plan, which claims to establish a "humanitarian city," has no connection to either a city or humanity in the slightest.
The Arab League confirmed in a statement today (Tuesday) that the new Israeli plan is "rejected in form and substance" and reflects a new level of "moral and ethical decline of the occupation," revealing an intention to continue the ethnic cleansing scheme, reoccupy the Gaza Strip, and possibly prepare it for the establishment of settlements.
The General Secretariat of the Arab League urged the international community to strongly confront such inhumane schemes, which evoke memories of dark events witnessed in the twentieth century that were thought to have been surpassed by the world. It affirmed that what is required now is to reach an agreement to cease fire as quickly as possible and for Israel to stop putting obstacles in the way, delaying, and inventing one hurdle after another to evade the obligation to cease fire.
The Israeli plan to establish a camp in the southern Gaza Strip comes in the context of escalating regional tensions and the ongoing conflict in the area. The plan, revealed by Israeli media reports, aims to relocate approximately 600,000 Palestinians from the Mawasi area to a camp confined between the "Philadelphi" and "Morag" axes in the southern sector, under the pretext of establishing a "humanitarian city."
The plan, announced by Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz, includes subjecting Palestinians to strict security checks before their transfer to the camp, with a prohibition on their exit from it later. The Arab League described this plan as "ethnic cleansing" and "reoccupation" of the sector.
