فيما قتل أكثر من 60 فلسطينياً منذ الساعات الأولى من الفجر وحتى اللحظة بقصف إسرائيلي على مناطق مختلفة من قطاع غزة بينهم نساء وأطفال قتلوا بالقرب من مركز للمساعدات في رفح، أعلنت مسؤولة السياسة الخارجية بالاتحاد الأوروبي كايا كالاس اليوم (الخميس) الاتفاق مع إسرائيل على توسيع وصول المساعدات الإنسانية إلى غزة، وفتح معابر جديدة، ودخول مساعدات، وإصلاح البنية التحتية، وحماية عمال الإغاثة.
وقالت كالاس: «نعتمد على إسرائيل في تنفيذ جميع الإجراءات المتفق عليها»، فيما أوضح متحدث باسم الاتحاد الأوروبي رفض الاتحاد أي تغيير ديموغرافي أو جغرافي في قطاع غزة.
وقال المتحدث: «غزة جزء من أي دولة فلسطينية مستقبلية ويجب ألا يكون هناك تهجير بأي حال»، مشدداً على ضرورة إيصال المساعدات بشكل مباشر إلى غزة وزيادة الشاحنات وفتح معابر جديدة.
وأفادت وكالة بلومبيرغ الأمريكية عن مصدر مطلع قوله إن التوصل إلى اتفاق بين الاتحاد الأوروبي وإسرائيل سيسمح بدخول مساعدات لقطاع غزة وزيادة الإمدادات اليومية، مبينة أن الاتفاق سيسمح بإعادة فتح العديد من طرق المساعدات إلى غزة.
بدوره، شدد وزير خارجية النرويج إسبن بارث إيدي على أن بلاده ستقاوم خطة إسرائيل لنقل سكان قطاع غزة قسراً إلى رفح جنوباً، واصفاً الخطة بأنها متعارضة مع القانون وحق تقرير المصير.
ودعا إيدي إسرائيل إلى السماح بتقديم المساعدات المنقذة لحياة سكان غزة. جاء ذلك فيما حاصرت آليات جيش الاحتلال الإسرائيلي عائلات نازحة في مخيمات الإيواء جنوبي مدينة خان يونس جنوبي قطاع غزة بعد توغلها بالمنطقة، وبحسب شهود عيان فإن هناك إصابات إثر غارة جوية إسرائيلية في محيط خيام النازحين.
في غضون ذلك، أعلن الدفاع المدني في قطاع غزة توقف جميع مركباته عن تقديم الخدمات الإنسانية للمواطنين في محافظتي غزة والشمال، مبيناً أنه بقيت لديه مركبة إطفاء واحدة في محافظتي غزة والشمال ولا تتوفر قطع غيار لها.
While more than 60 Palestinians have been killed since the early hours of dawn until now due to Israeli bombardment in various areas of the Gaza Strip, including women and children who were killed near a aid center in Rafah, the European Union's foreign policy chief, Kaja Kallas, announced today (Thursday) an agreement with Israel to expand humanitarian aid access to Gaza, open new crossings, allow aid to enter, repair infrastructure, and protect relief workers.
Kallas stated, "We rely on Israel to implement all agreed-upon measures," while a spokesperson for the European Union clarified that the EU rejects any demographic or geographical changes in the Gaza Strip.
The spokesperson said, "Gaza is part of any future Palestinian state and there should be no displacement under any circumstances," emphasizing the necessity of delivering aid directly to Gaza, increasing truck deliveries, and opening new crossings.
The American news agency Bloomberg reported a knowledgeable source saying that the agreement between the European Union and Israel would allow aid to enter the Gaza Strip and increase daily supplies, indicating that the agreement would permit the reopening of many aid routes to Gaza.
For his part, Norway's Foreign Minister Espen Barth Eide stressed that his country would resist Israel's plan to forcibly relocate the residents of the Gaza Strip to Rafah in the south, describing the plan as contradictory to the law and the right to self-determination.
Eide called on Israel to allow life-saving aid to reach the residents of Gaza. This came as Israeli occupation forces surrounded displaced families in shelter camps south of Khan Younis city in the southern Gaza Strip after advancing into the area. According to eyewitnesses, there were injuries resulting from an Israeli airstrike in the vicinity of the displaced persons' tents.
Meanwhile, the Civil Defense in the Gaza Strip announced that all its vehicles have stopped providing humanitarian services to citizens in the Gaza and North governorates, indicating that it has only one fire truck left in the Gaza and North governorates and that spare parts for it are not available.
