في أول حديث بينهما منذ سبتمبر 2022، أجرى الرئيس الروسي فلاديمير بوتين ونظيره الفرنسي إيمانويل ماكرون اتصالاً هاتفياً، وبحسب ما أفاد الكرملين اليوم (الثلاثاء) فإن الرئيسين أكدا على المسؤولية المشتركة بين البلدين بصفتهما عضوين دائمين في مجلس الأمن الدولي في الحفاظ على السلام، بما في ذلك في الشرق الأوسط.
وأوضح الكرملين أن بوتين وماكرون شددا على ضرورة الحفاظ على النظام العالمي لمنع انتشار الأسلحة النووية،.
وحمل بوتين في اتصاله مع ماكرون الغرب مسؤولية النزاع في أوكرانيا، معتبراً أن الغرب عمل لسنوات على تحويل أوكرانيا إلى منصة معادية لروسيا، وهو الذي يطيل أمد العمليات القتالية حالياً.
وأكد بوتين في حديثه لماكرون بأن أي اتفاق سلام بشأن أوكرانيا يجب أن يكون طويل الأمد، فيما حث الرئيس الفرنسي نظيره الروسي على الموافقة على وقف لإطلاق النار في أوكرانيا في أقرب مهلة ممكنة، بحسب ما ذكره الإليزيه.
وأكد ماكرون على دعم فرنسا الثابت لسيادة أوكرانيا ووحدة أراضيها، داعياً إلى إقرار في أقرب مهلة ممكنة وقف لإطلاق النار وإطلاق مفاوضات بين أوكرانيا وروسيا للتوصّل إلى تسوية دائمة ومتينة للنزاع.
وناقش الرئيسان بالتفصيل الوضع في الشرق الأوسط، في سياق المواجهة الإيرانية الإسرائيلية والضربات الأمريكية على المنشآت النووية الإيرانية.
وشدد بوتين في الإطار على حق إيران في برنامج نووي «سلمي»، وأبلغ بوتين ماكرون بضرورة حل النزاعات في الشرق الأوسط بوسائل دبلوماسية.
بدوره، شدد ماكرون خلال الاتصال الهاتفي الذي استمر ساعتين مع بوتين على ضرورة امتثال إيران لالتزاماتها بموجب معاهدة حظر انتشار الأسلحة النووية، ولا سيما تعاونها الكامل مع الوكالة الدولية للطاقة الذرية.

Putin confirmed in his conversation with Macron that any peace agreement regarding Ukraine must be long-term, while the French president urged his Russian counterpart to agree to a ceasefire in Ukraine as soon as possible, according to what the Élysée reported.
Macron reaffirmed France's steadfast support for Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity, calling for a ceasefire to be established as soon as possible and for negotiations between Ukraine and Russia to reach a lasting and solid settlement of the conflict.
The two presidents discussed in detail the situation in the Middle East, in the context of the Iranian-Israeli confrontation and the American strikes on Iranian nuclear facilities.
Putin emphasized in this context Iran's right to a "peaceful" nuclear program and informed Macron of the necessity to resolve conflicts in the Middle East through diplomatic means.
For his part, Macron stressed during the two-hour phone call with Putin the importance of Iran complying with its obligations under the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons, particularly its full cooperation with the International Atomic Energy Agency.
