أعلن مشروع مسام لنزع الألغام في اليمن اليوم (الأحد) عن نزع 1493 لغماً وذخيرة غير منفجرة وعبوة ناسفة خلال الأسبوع الماضي، مؤكداً في تغريدات عبر حسابه في «إكس» أن هذه الإحصائية ترفع إجمالي ما تم نزعه منذ بداية الشهر الجاري يونيو حتى الـ27 منه إلى 5192 لغماً وذخيرة غير منفجرة وعبوة ناسفة كانت مهددة للمدنيين في اليمن.
وكتب المشروع: نزع «مسام» الأسبوع الماضي 1448 ذخيرة غير منفجرة و27 لغماً مضاداً للدبابات، مشيراً إلى أن إجمالي ما تم نزعه منذ بداية الشهر على النحو التالي 4986 ذخيرة غير منفجرة، 178 لغماً مضاداً للدبابات، وتعد هذه أكبر إحصائية شهرية خلال 2025.
وأشار المشروع إلى أن فرقه تمكنت منذ انطلاقته في يونيو 2018 من تطهير 67971272 متراً مربعاً من الأراضي اليمنية، مبيناً انه نزع منذ انطلاقته وحتى الآن (502,736) لغماً وذخيرة غير منفجرة وعبوة ناسفة.
وكان مشروع «مسام» قد نفذ الخميس الماضي عملية نوعية لإتلاف كمية كبيرة من مخلفات الحرب غير المنفجرة، في منطقة وادي دوفس بمديرية زنجبار بمحافظة أبين جنوب اليمن، ضمن جهوده المستمرة لتعزيز الأمن المجتمعي وحماية أرواح المدنيين.
وأعلن فريق المهمات الخاصة الأول تنفيذ العملية التي أسفرت عن إتلاف 4620 قطعة من الذخائر ومخلفات الحرب في منطقة آمنة، بعيدة عن التجمعات السكنية والمناطق الزراعية، مع الالتزام الكامل بالمعايير الدولية.
ويواصل مشروع «مسام» تنفيذ مهماته الإنسانية في مختلف المحافظات اليمنية التي تعاني من انتشار الألغام ومخلفات الحرب، في سبيل تطهير الأراضي وضمان عودة الحياة بأمان إلى المجتمعات المحلية، فضلاً عن المهمات التوعوية بمخاطر الألغام وضرورة الإبلاغ عن الأجسام المشبوهة التي قد تسبب في خسائر كبيرة في أوساط الشعب اليمني خصوصاً الأطفال الذين لا يفقهون طبيعة المواد والألغام المموهة التي دائماً ما يتم تعمد تركها قرب القرى والمدارس والمزارع وفي الشوارع من قبل العصابات الإرهابية.
The Masam project for mine clearance in Yemen announced today (Sunday) the removal of 1,493 mines, unexploded ordnance, and improvised explosive devices during the past week, confirming in tweets via its account on "X" that this statistic raises the total number removed since the beginning of this month, June, until the 27th to 5,192 mines, unexploded ordnance, and improvised explosive devices that posed a threat to civilians in Yemen.
The project stated: "Masam" removed 1,448 unexploded ordnance and 27 anti-tank mines last week, noting that the total removed since the beginning of the month is as follows: 4,986 unexploded ordnance, 178 anti-tank mines, making this the largest monthly statistic in 2025.
The project indicated that its teams have managed since its launch in June 2018 to clear 67,971,272 square meters of Yemeni land, stating that it has removed (502,736) mines, unexploded ordnance, and improvised explosive devices since its inception until now.
The "Masam" project had carried out a significant operation last Thursday to destroy a large quantity of unexploded war remnants in the Wadi Dofas area of the Zinjibar district in Abyan Governorate, southern Yemen, as part of its ongoing efforts to enhance community security and protect the lives of civilians.
The first special operations team announced the execution of the operation, which resulted in the destruction of 4,620 pieces of ordnance and war remnants in a safe area, far from residential gatherings and agricultural areas, while fully adhering to international standards.
The "Masam" project continues to carry out its humanitarian missions in various Yemeni governorates suffering from the spread of mines and war remnants, in order to clear the land and ensure the safe return of life to local communities, in addition to awareness missions about the dangers of mines and the necessity of reporting suspicious objects that could cause significant losses among the Yemeni people, especially children who do not understand the nature of the materials and camouflaged mines that are often deliberately left near villages, schools, farms, and in the streets by terrorist gangs.
