بعد أيام من إعلان السلطات اليمنية ضبط كميات من المخدرات والحشيش في باب المندب ومنفذ الوديعة، أعلن مدير أمن عدن اللواء مطهر الشعيبي اليوم (الأحد) وجود مصنع لإنتاج الكبتاجون المخدر في محافظة المحويت، مؤكداً أن الأجهزة الأمنية حققت مع أحد مؤسسي ذلك المصنع الذي أقر أنه بديل للمصنع الذي كان في سورية.
وحذر مدير أمن عدن من انتشار حبوب الكبتاجون في اليمن بشكل كبير جداً بعد تأسيس المصنع الحوثي. وبحسب تدوينات لوزير الإعلام اليمني معمر الإرياني فإن تسهيل الحوثي إنشاء مصنع لإنتاج الكبتاجون في محافظة المحويت ليس سوى حلقة جديدة في مسلسل استغلال المخدرات كأداة لتمويل الأنشطة الإرهابية بعد سقوط نظام بشار الأسد الذي كان يمثل الممر الرئيسي لتجارة الكبتاجون إلى دول المنطقة.
واتهم الإرياني الحوثي بتحويل اليمن إلى نقطة انطلاق جديدة لصناعة وتهريب المخدرات عقب تدمير مصنع مدينة دوما بريف العاصمة السورية دمشق، وبالأساليب القذرة نفسها التي تستهدف ضرب أمن المنطقة واستقرارها، وتهديد المجتمعات بهذا السم القاتل، وتمويل أنشطتهم الإرهابية.
وأشار الإرياني إلى أن هذا التطور يفضح استمرار الحوثي في استغلال القطاعات المدنية بمناطق سيطرته بعد تحويله جزءاً من مصانع الأدوية في العاصمة المختطفة صنعاء إلى معامل لإنتاج الكبتاجون، في جريمة مركبة تجمع بين انتهاك مقدرات الشعب اليمني، واستخدامها كوسيلة لتمويل أنشطته الإرهابية.
وتمكنت الأجهزة الأمنية اليمنية من ضبط كميات ضخمة من المخدرات التي حاولت شبكات التهريب الحوثية إدخالها عبر منفذ الوديعة إلى السعودية مخفية بإحدى الناقلات، وهو ما يؤكد قدرة الدولة اليمنية على مواجهة هذه الحرب القذرة على الشعب اليمني ودول المنطقة.
وحذر الإرياني من خطر الحوثي الذي لم يعد يقتصر فقط على الصواريخ والطائرات المسيّرة التي تهدد الأمن الإقليمي والملاحة الدولية، بل تجاوز ذلك إلى محاولة ضرب المجتمعات الخليجية والعربية بالمخدرات، وأن استمرار التغاضي عن هذه الأنشطة الإجرامية سيشجعها على المضي في تحويل اليمن إلى مركز لصناعة وتهريب المخدرات، بما يهدد أمن واستقرار المنطقة، داعياً إلى موقف دولي حازم لمواجهة هذه المخاطر وتجفيف مصادر تمويل الحوثي التخريبي في المنطقة، ودعم جهود الحكومة الشرعية لإعادة بسط سيطرتها على كامل الأراضي اليمنية.
Days after the Yemeni authorities announced the seizure of quantities of drugs and hashish in Bab al-Mandab and the Al-Wadiah crossing, the Director of Security in Aden, Major General Muthar al-Shuaibi, announced today (Sunday) the existence of a Captagon drug production factory in Al-Mahwit Governorate, confirming that the security forces have interrogated one of the founders of that factory who admitted it was a replacement for the factory that was in Syria.
The Director of Security in Aden warned of the significant spread of Captagon pills in Yemen following the establishment of the Houthi factory. According to posts by Yemeni Minister of Information Muammar al-Eryani, facilitating the Houthi establishment of a Captagon production factory in Al-Mahwit Governorate is nothing but a new link in the series of exploiting drugs as a tool to finance terrorist activities after the fall of Bashar al-Assad's regime, which represented the main corridor for Captagon trade to the countries of the region.
Al-Eryani accused the Houthis of turning Yemen into a new launching point for drug production and trafficking following the destruction of the factory in Douma in the countryside of the Syrian capital, Damascus, using the same dirty methods that aim to undermine the security and stability of the region and threaten communities with this deadly poison, while financing their terrorist activities.
Al-Eryani pointed out that this development exposes the Houthis' continued exploitation of civilian sectors in areas under their control after they transformed part of the pharmaceutical factories in the seized capital, Sana'a, into laboratories for Captagon production, in a compound crime that combines the violation of the Yemeni people's resources and using them as a means to finance their terrorist activities.
The Yemeni security forces managed to seize large quantities of drugs that Houthi smuggling networks attempted to bring into Saudi Arabia through the Al-Wadiah crossing, hidden in one of the transport vehicles, which confirms the Yemeni state's ability to confront this dirty war against the Yemeni people and the countries of the region.
Al-Eryani warned of the Houthi danger, which is no longer limited to rockets and drones threatening regional security and international navigation, but has gone beyond that to attempt to strike Gulf and Arab communities with drugs. He stated that continued complacency regarding these criminal activities will encourage them to proceed with turning Yemen into a center for drug production and trafficking, threatening the security and stability of the region. He called for a firm international stance to confront these dangers, dry up the funding sources for the Houthi destructive activities in the region, and support the legitimate government's efforts to regain control over all Yemeni territories.
