يتوجه وفد رفيع المستوى من البرلمان العربي، برئاسة محمد بن أحمد اليماحي، رئيس البرلمان العربي، (الجمعة) إلى معبر رفح الحدودي، في زيارة ميدانية تهدف إلى الاطلاع على الأوضاع الإنسانية الكارثية التي يعيشها أبناء الشعب الفلسطيني في قطاع غزة.
وأوضح البرلمان العربي -في بيان له- أنه هذه الزيارة تأتي في ظل استمرار عدوان كيان الاحتلال الإسرائيلي الوحشي وحرب الإبادة والحصار الخانق المفروض على قطاع غزة.
وتأتي هذه الزيارة في إطار تحركات البرلمان العربي المستمرة لدعم القضية الفلسطينية، والوقوف ميدانيا على حجم الكارثة الإنسانية التي يعاني منها أهلنا في غزة، جراء منع دخول المساعدات الإنسانية والطبية والغذائية، والانتهاكات المستمرة التي يرتكبها الاحتلال الإسرائيلي بحق المدنيين الأبرياء.
وسيجري وفد البرلمان العربي سلسلة من اللقاءات مع الجهات المعنية، وسيطلع على الجهود المبذولة من قبل جمهورية مصر العربية لتسهيل وصول المساعدات، وما تواجهه من تحديات، وزيارة ميدانية إلى المستشفيات لزيارة الجرحى ومصابي العدوان والاطلاع على احتياجاتهم.
كما سيقوم الوفد برفع تقرير مفصل إلى البرلمان العربي يتضمن التوصيات والإجراءات الواجب اتخاذها على الصعيدين العربي والدولي، لتكثيف الضغط السياسي والحقوقي من أجل رفع الحصار ووقف الجرائم المرتكبة بحق الشعب الفلسطيني.
وأكد البرلمان العربي أن هذه الزيارة تعكس التزامه الثابت بالدفاع عن القضية الفلسطينية، ومواصلة جهوده لتسليط الضوء على المأساة الإنسانية في غزة، والعمل على حشد الدعم الدولي لوقف حرب الإبادة ورفع المعاناة عن الشعب الفلسطيني الصامد.
A high-level delegation from the Arab Parliament, headed by Mohammed bin Ahmed Al-Yamahi, President of the Arab Parliament, is heading to the Rafah border crossing on (Friday) for a field visit aimed at assessing the catastrophic humanitarian conditions faced by the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip.
The Arab Parliament clarified in a statement that this visit comes amid the ongoing brutal aggression of the Israeli occupation entity and the genocidal war and suffocating blockade imposed on the Gaza Strip.
This visit is part of the Arab Parliament's ongoing efforts to support the Palestinian cause and to witness firsthand the extent of the humanitarian disaster that our people in Gaza are suffering due to the prevention of humanitarian, medical, and food aid, as well as the continuous violations committed by the Israeli occupation against innocent civilians.
The Arab Parliament delegation will conduct a series of meetings with relevant parties and will be briefed on the efforts made by the Arab Republic of Egypt to facilitate the delivery of aid, the challenges it faces, and will undertake a field visit to hospitals to visit the wounded and victims of the aggression and assess their needs.
The delegation will also prepare a detailed report for the Arab Parliament that includes recommendations and actions to be taken at both the Arab and international levels to intensify political and legal pressure to lift the blockade and stop the crimes committed against the Palestinian people.
The Arab Parliament affirmed that this visit reflects its steadfast commitment to defending the Palestinian cause, continuing its efforts to highlight the humanitarian tragedy in Gaza, and working to mobilize international support to stop the genocidal war and alleviate the suffering of the resilient Palestinian people.
