قررت محكمة الوزراء في الكويت تأجيل محاكمة وزير الدفاع الأسبق الكويتي الشيخ أحمد الفهد إلى 9 سبتمبر القادم، وذلك للاستماع إلى شهود النفي في بلاغ المصروفات السرية المرفوع من النائب الأول لرئيس مجلس الوزراء وزير الداخلية الشيخ فهد اليوسف، وقد استمعت المحكمة اليوم إلى 4 من شهود الإثبات.
من جهة أخرى، أيدت محكمة الوزراء قرار لجنة التحقيق بمحكمة الوزراء بحفظ البلاغ الثاني ضد الفهد والمرفوع من وحدة التحريات المالية بشأن تدخل الفهد في الانتخابات من خلال صرف مبالغ مالية، حيث لم يثبت وجود دليل في الاتهام من قبل اللجنة التي انتهت إلى حفظ البلاغ.
The Kuwaiti Council of Ministers Court has decided to postpone the trial of former Defense Minister Sheikh Ahmad Al-Fahad to September 9, in order to hear the witnesses for the defense regarding the complaint about secret expenses filed by the First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Fahad Al-Yusuf. The court heard today from 4 witnesses for the prosecution.
On another note, the Council of Ministers Court upheld the decision of the investigation committee of the Council of Ministers to dismiss the second complaint against Al-Fahad, which was filed by the Financial Investigations Unit regarding Al-Fahad's interference in the elections through the disbursement of financial amounts, as no evidence was found to support the accusation by the committee, which concluded to dismiss the complaint.
