أكد رئيس الوزراء اللبناني نواف سلام نجاح الجهود في منع جر لبنان إلى حرب جديدة أو توريطه في النزاع الإقليمي الذي كان دائراً. وقال خلال زيارة رسمية إلى قطر، اليوم(الثلاثاء): «نتطلع اليوم إلى صفحة جديدة من العمل الدبلوماسي، معرباً عن أمله في أن تشهد المنطقة تعاوناً أكبر لتحقيق الاستقرار والسلام». وشدد سلام على أن تحقيق الاستقرار لا يكون إلا عبر انسحاب إسرائيل من النقاط الخمس التي تحتلها في جنوب لبنان.وفيما يتعلق بالوضع الإقليمي، أدان سلام العدوان الإسرائيلي على إيران، واصفاً إياه بانتهاك واضح للقانون الدولي وسيادة الدول، ودعا إسرائيل إلى وقف انتهاكاتها والعمل على تحقيق السلام والاستقرار.وفي الشأن الداخلي، أكد سلام أن الحكومة اللبنانية تعمل جاهدة على إصلاح القضاء وتأكيد سلطة الدولة على كامل أراضيها، معبراً عن تطلع لبنان لصفحة جديدة من العمل الدبلوماسي بما يخدم مصالحه ومصالح المنطقة.

The Lebanese Prime Minister, Nawaf Salam, confirmed the success of efforts to prevent dragging Lebanon into a new war or involving it in the ongoing regional conflict. During an official visit to Qatar today (Tuesday), he said, "We look forward today to a new chapter of diplomatic work," expressing hope that the region would witness greater cooperation to achieve stability and peace. Salam emphasized that achieving stability can only be done through Israel's withdrawal from the five points it occupies in southern Lebanon. Regarding the regional situation, Salam condemned the Israeli aggression against Iran, describing it as a clear violation of international law and the sovereignty of nations, and called on Israel to stop its violations and work towards achieving peace and stability. On the internal front, Salam confirmed that the Lebanese government is working hard to reform the judiciary and assert the authority of the state over its entire territory, expressing Lebanon's aspiration for a new chapter of diplomatic work that serves its interests and the interests of the region.
