طالبت الحكومة العراقية اليوم (السبت) من الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية عدم السماح لإسرائيل بخرق الأجواء العراقية، مشددة على ضرورة احترام سيادة العراق وسلامة مجاله الجوي.
ونقلت وكالة الأنباء العراقية «وع» عن مصدر حكومي عراقي مسؤول قوله إن «العراق طالب الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية، في رسالة رسمية شديدة، باتخاذ دورها بعدم السماح للطائرات الصهيونية بخرق الأجواء العراقية، استناداً إلى الاتفاقية الاطارية المشتركة»، مشيراً إلى أهمية احترام سيادة العراق وسلامة مجاله الجوي.
وقال المصدر: إن الولايات المتحدة، بصفتها الدولة التي تتولى قيادة التحالف الدولي لمحاربة داعش، مطالبة بتحمّل مسؤولياتها، ومنع أي انتهاكات تمس سيادة العراق على أجوائه أو تعريضه للخطر.
وكان مستشار الأمن القومي قاسم الأعرجي قد أعلن في وقت سابق اليوم رفض بلاده أن يكون منطلقاً للعدوان على دول الجوار، موضحاً خلال استقباله السفير الإيراني في بغداد محمد كاظم آل صادق أن موقف العراق الثابت وواضح إزاء ما يجري من تصعيد خطير، وكذلك رفض العراق أن يكون منطلقاً للعدوان على دول الجوار، لا سيما إيران. بحسب وكالة الأنباء العراقية «وع».
وشدد الأعرجي على ضرورة خفض التصعيد في المنطقة حفاظاً على أمن واستقرار بلدانها وشعوبها.
وتواصل الهجمات المتبادلة بين إسرائيل وإيران، وذلك بعد أن شن الاحتلال هجوماً واسعاً على إيران، وقصف منشآت نووية وصاروخية، واغتال قادة عسكريين وعلماء نوويين، في بداية عملية أطلقت عليها اسم «الأسد الصاعد»، فيما ردت طهران بهجمات صاروخية مكثفة.
The Iraqi government demanded today (Saturday) that the United States not allow Israel to violate Iraqi airspace, emphasizing the necessity of respecting Iraq's sovereignty and the integrity of its airspace.
The Iraqi News Agency "INA" quoted a responsible Iraqi government source as saying that "Iraq has formally requested the United States, in a strong official letter, to play its role in preventing Israeli aircraft from breaching Iraqi airspace, based on the joint framework agreement," pointing to the importance of respecting Iraq's sovereignty and the integrity of its airspace.
The source stated that the United States, as the country leading the international coalition against ISIS, is required to assume its responsibilities and prevent any violations that affect Iraq's sovereignty over its airspace or put it at risk.
Earlier today, National Security Advisor Qassem Al-Araji announced that his country rejects being a launchpad for aggression against neighboring countries, clarifying during his meeting with the Iranian ambassador in Baghdad, Mohammad Kazem Al-Sadiq, that Iraq's position is firm and clear regarding the ongoing dangerous escalation, as well as Iraq's refusal to be a launchpad for aggression against neighboring countries, especially Iran, according to the Iraqi News Agency "INA".
Al-Araji emphasized the necessity of de-escalation in the region to preserve the security and stability of its countries and peoples.
Mutual attacks between Israel and Iran continue, following the occupation's extensive assault on Iran, targeting nuclear and missile facilities, and assassinating military leaders and nuclear scientists, in an operation dubbed "Rising Lion," while Tehran responded with intensive missile attacks.
