Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated today (Saturday) that Israel has inflicted significant damage on Iran's nuclear and ballistic program, emphasizing that Tel Aviv will not allow Tehran to possess nuclear weapons.

He added in a televised speech: "We will not allow Iran to acquire 20,000 missiles, and soon you will see Israeli planes in the skies over Tehran," stressing: "Contrary to those who say our strikes have not achieved results, we have dealt a strong blow to Iran's central enrichment site, and our attacks on nuclear facilities are setting Iran back years."

The Israeli Prime Minister clarified that our goal is to thwart Iran's nuclear and missile threats, and we will strike every site of the Iranian regime, confirming the targeting of the leadership team of scientists who are leading the nuclear project.

Netanyahu said: "I cannot go into more details."

He considered that "the Iranian threat is dual, represented in nuclear weapons and ballistic missiles, and our goal is to thwart this danger by all means."

Netanyahu explained that Tehran was "minutes away from possessing a nuclear bomb capable of destroying Israel," emphasizing that the recent attack caused severe damage to the infrastructure of nuclear facilities and directly affected research and development teams.

He concluded by saying: "We have carved a path to the heart of Iran, and what you have seen is just the beginning. What is coming is greater."

The Israeli occupation army had announced earlier today the killing of more than 20 Iranian leaders, including the Chief of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces, Mohammad Hossein Baqeri, in military operations, explaining in a statement that operations from the beginning have eliminated more than 20 leaders in the Iranian regime's security apparatus, among the dead are several senior leaders of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard.

The occupation army indicated that 9 nuclear scientists were killed in the strikes on Iran, clarifying that all the scientists and experts who were eliminated were key knowledge centers in Iran's nuclear project and had accumulated decades of experience in the fields of nuclear weapon development.

At the same time, the newspaper Yisrael Hayom reported that the security cabinet is scheduled to meet this evening (Saturday) to assess the situation, amid expectations that Iran will launch a drone and missile attack on Israel within hours.
