أعلن وزير الخارجية الألماني يوهان فاديفول أنه سيسافر إلى الرياض خلال ساعات للقاء وزير الخارجية الأمير فيصل بن فرحان، وبحث سبل تهدئة الأوضاع في المنطقة.
وقال في تصريح تليفزيوني: «لا أحد يريد تصعيد الأمور في الشرق الأوسط، خصوصاً التصعيد العسكري»، مطالباً بالعمل المكثف من أجل تجنب التصعيد في المنطقة.
وحذر من أن الأوضاع في المنطقة ستتفاقم بعد الهجوم الإسرائيلي على إيران، مؤكداً أن تلك الهجمات مثيرة للقلق، وأن حل الدولتين هو السبيل الوحيد لتعزيز السلام وتحقيق الاستقرار بالمنطقة.
وكان وزيرا خارجية مصر وألمانيا عقدا جلسة مباحثات في القاهرة لبحث سبل التهدئة في المنطقة، وأكد الجانبان أهمية العمل على خفض التصعيد وعدم انزلاق المنطقة إلى فوضى شاملة وتجنب توسيع رقعة الصراع.
وشدد وزير الخارجية المصري بدر عبد العاطي على أن أوهام القوة لن تحقق الأمن لإسرائيل، ولا يوجد أي حلول عسكرية للأزمات الراهنة بالمنطقة. وقال إن الجهود مستمرة لوقف التصعيد في المنطقة واحتواء الموقف، خصوصاً أن الوضع لا يتحمل أزمات جديدة. وأضاف أنه أجرى اتصالات مكثفة مع وزراء خارجية السعودية وقطر وإيران على خلفية الاعتداءات الإسرائيلية على إيران، وتناولت الاتصالات أهمية العمل على خفض التصعيد وعدم انزلاق المنطقة بأكملها إلى فوضى شاملة وتوسيع رقعة الصراع.
وأكد على ضرورة وقف الاعتداءات الإسرائيلية وتوصيل رسائل بذلك للجانب الإسرائيلي، ورسائل أخرى مفادها أنه لا بد من الاعتراف بحق الشعب الفلسطيني في دولته المستقلة. وأضاف أن هناك توافقاً كاملاً على عدد من النقاط، منها الرفض الكامل للحلول العسكرية والانتشار النووي.
وجدد بدر عبد العاطي التأكيد أن بلاده ترفض أي انتهاك لسيادة الدول ووحدة وسلامة أراضيها، مؤكداً أهمية العمل على خفض التصعيد وتجنب توسيع رقعة الصراع، وتجنب انعكاسه الخطير على أمن واستقرار المنطقة.

The German Foreign Minister, Johan Wadephol, announced that he will travel to Riyadh within hours to meet with Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan and discuss ways to calm the situation in the region.
He said in a television statement: “No one wants to escalate matters in the Middle East, especially military escalation,” calling for intensive efforts to avoid escalation in the region.
He warned that the situation in the region will worsen following the Israeli attack on Iran, emphasizing that these attacks are concerning, and that the two-state solution is the only way to enhance peace and achieve stability in the region.
The foreign ministers of Egypt and Germany held a session of talks in Cairo to discuss ways to de-escalate the situation in the region, with both sides affirming the importance of working to reduce tensions and prevent the region from slipping into total chaos and avoiding the expansion of the conflict.
Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdel Atti stressed that illusions of power will not bring security to Israel, and there are no military solutions to the current crises in the region. He stated that efforts are ongoing to stop the escalation in the region and contain the situation, especially since it cannot bear new crises. He added that he has been in intensive contact with the foreign ministers of Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and Iran regarding the Israeli attacks on Iran, and the discussions addressed the importance of working to reduce tensions and prevent the entire region from descending into total chaos and expanding the conflict.
He emphasized the necessity of stopping the Israeli attacks and sending messages to the Israeli side, as well as other messages indicating that the right of the Palestinian people to their independent state must be recognized. He added that there is complete agreement on several points, including the total rejection of military solutions and nuclear proliferation.
Badr Abdel Atti reiterated that his country rejects any violation of the sovereignty of states and the unity and integrity of their territories, emphasizing the importance of working to reduce tensions and avoid the expansion of the conflict, and preventing its serious repercussions on the security and stability of the region.
