أرتكب مسلح يعاني اضطرابات نفسية «مجزرة»، راح ضحيتها أكثر من 12 شخصاً وأصيب آخرون، مساء أمس (السبت)، بعدما فتح النار بشكل عشوائي داخل مسجد بمحافظة البيضاء، الخاضعة لسيطرة جماعة الحوثي، أثناء ترديد تكبيرات عيد الأضحى المبارك.
وجرت وقائع الحادثة في مسجد «حمة عكوس» بقرية قرن الأسد التابعة لمديرية العرش في مدينة رداع، عقب صلاة المغرب.
ونقلت منصة «يمن فيوتشر» الإعلامية عن مصادر محلية قولها: «إن المسلح بدأ الهجوم بإطلاق النار على شابين داخل بقالة مجاورة، قبل توجهه إلى المسجد وفتح النار على المصلين بعد انتهاء الصلاة».
وأفادت بأن من بين القتلى شاب يدعى أحمد عبدربه العجي، مالك البقالة، إلى جانب أحد أصدقائه من أبناء منطقة الرياشية، فيما أصيب طفل يبلغ من العمر 12 عاماً يدعى ولد العنسي، إضافة إلى بائع كان بداخل المسجد وقت الحادثة.
ووفق المصادر، فإن مكبرات الصوت في المسجد كانت تعمل أثناء إطلاق النار، ما جعل صرخات المصابين تصل إلى أرجاء المنطقة، في مشهد أثار حالة من الفزع بين السكان.
وقبض على المنفذ بعد نحو ساعة ونصف الساعة من الحادثة، فيما نُقل المصابون إلى مستشفى ذمار لتلقي الرعاية، وسط ترجيحات بارتفاع عدد الضحايا مع تفاقم الإصابات وخطورتها.

A gunman suffering from psychological disorders committed a "massacre," resulting in the deaths of more than 12 people and injuries to others, last night (Saturday), after he opened fire randomly inside a mosque in Al-Bayda province, controlled by the Houthi group, during the recitation of the Takbir for Eid al-Adha.
The incident took place at the "Hama Akous" mosque in the village of Qarn al-Asad, which is part of the Al-Arsh district in the city of Rada, following the Maghrib prayer.
The media platform "Yemen Future" reported from local sources that "the gunman began the attack by shooting at two young men inside a nearby grocery store, before heading to the mosque and opening fire on the worshippers after the prayer ended."
It was reported that among the dead was a young man named Ahmed Abdurrahman Al-Aji, the owner of the grocery store, along with one of his friends from the Al-Riyashiya area, while a 12-year-old boy named Walid Al-Ansi was injured, in addition to a vendor who was inside the mosque at the time of the incident.
According to the sources, the mosque's loudspeakers were active during the gunfire, which allowed the cries of the injured to reach the surrounding area, creating a scene that caused panic among the residents.
The perpetrator was arrested about an hour and a half after the incident, while the injured were transferred to Dhamar Hospital for care, amid expectations that the number of casualties would rise as injuries worsened and became more serious.
