أظهر تقرير أصدرته الهيئة العامة للأحصاء أمس (الثلاثاء) للعام 2024 أن متوسط عمر الفرد السعودي بلغ 26.6 سنة، في حين بلغ الوسيط العمري 23.5 سنة. وأشارت نتائج الإحصاء إلى أن 71% من السكان السعوديين تقل أعمارهم عن 35 سنة، فيما بلغ متوسط حجم الأسرة السعودية خمسة أفراد، ومثّلت الأسر المكوّنة من ستة أفراد 13.5%، والمكوّنة من أربعة أو خمسة أفراد 12.8%.
وأظهر التقرير الإحصائي أن الذكور يشكّلون 83.1% من أرباب الأسر السعودية، مقابل 16.9% للإناث، وسجّلت أعلى نسبة لأرباب الأسر من الذكور في الفئة العمرية 35 – 39 سنة (17.6%)، فيما كانت النسبة الأعلى لأرباب الأسر من الإناث ضمن الفئة العمرية 30 – 34 سنة (14.3%)، وبلغت نسبة الأسر المعيشية السعودية نحو 51% من إجمالي عدد الأسر، في حين شكّلت الأسر التي تحتوي على فردين فأكثر نحو 86%.
يشار إلى أن تقرير «إحصاءات الأسرة السعودية 2024» اعتمد على حزمة من المؤشرات الخاصة بالأسر السعودية من الفئة العمرية (15 سنة فأكثر)، مستندًا إلى بيانات تعداد 2022، إلى جانب نتائج عددٍ من المسوح الإحصائية التي تنفذها الهيئة.

A report issued by the General Authority for Statistics yesterday (Tuesday) for the year 2024 indicated that the average age of a Saudi individual reached 26.6 years, while the median age was 23.5 years. The census results showed that 71% of the Saudi population is under the age of 35, while the average size of a Saudi family is five individuals. Families consisting of six members represented 13.5%, and those consisting of four or five members accounted for 12.8%.
The statistical report revealed that males constitute 83.1% of Saudi household heads, compared to 16.9% for females. The highest percentage of male household heads was in the age group of 35 – 39 years (17.6%), while the highest percentage of female household heads was in the age group of 30 – 34 years (14.3%). The percentage of Saudi households was about 51% of the total number of households, while households containing two or more individuals made up approximately 86%.
