تمكّن مشروع مركز الملك سلمان للإغاثة والأعمال الإنسانية «مسام» لتطهير الأراضي اليمنية من الألغام خلال الأسبوع الثالث من شهر مايو (2025) من انتزاع (1095) لغمًا في مختلف مناطق اليمن، منها (32) لغما مضادا للدبابات، و(7) ألغام مضادة للأفراد، و(1056) ذخيرة غير منفجرة.
ونزع فريق «مسام» (50) ذخيرة غير منفجرة بمديرية قعطبة في محافظة الضالع، ولغمين مضادين للدبابات، وفي محافظة الحديدة نزع (119) ذخيرة غير منفجرة في مديرية حيس، و(58) ذخيرة غير منفجرة بمديرية الخوخة.
وفي محافظة لحج نزع الفريق (74) ذخيرة غيرة منفجرة بمديرية المضاربة، و(58) ذخيرة غير منفجرة بمديرية الوهط، ونزع الفريق في محافظة مأرب لغما واحدا مضادا للدبابات وذخيرتين غير منفجرتين بمديرية رغوان، و(25) لغما مضادا للدبابات و(150) ذخيرة غير منفجرة في مديرية مأرب، ونزع لغما واحدا مضادا للدبابات و(8) ذخائر غير منفجرة بمديرية عسيلان في محافظة شبوة.
وفي محافظة تعز نزع الفريق (34) ذخيرة غير منفجرة بمديرية موزع، و(7) ألغام مضادة للأفراد و(3) ألغام مضادة للدبابات، و(268) ذخيرة غير منفجرة بمديرية ذباب، و(71) ذخيرة غير منفجرة بمديرية المخاء، و(164) ذخيرة غير منفجرة بمديرية المظفر.
وبذلك ارتفع عدد الألغام المنزوعة خلال شهر مايو حتى الآن إلى (4.207) ألغام، وارتفع عدد الألغام المنزوعة منذ بداية مشروع «مسام» حتى الآن إلى (494) ألفا و(351) لغما بعد أن زُرعت عشوائيا في مختلف الأراضي اليمنية لحصد الأرواح البريئة من الأطفال والنساء وكبار السن، وزرع الخوف في قلوب الآمنين.
The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center's "Masam" project for clearing Yemeni lands from mines was able, during the third week of May (2025), to remove (1,095) mines in various areas of Yemen, including (32) anti-tank mines, (7) anti-personnel mines, and (1,056) unexploded ordnance.
The "Masam" team removed (50) unexploded ordnance in the Qatabah district of Al-Dhalea Governorate, along with two anti-tank mines. In Al-Hudaydah Governorate, (119) unexploded ordnance were removed in the Hays district, and (58) unexploded ordnance in the Al-Khawkhah district.
In Lahij Governorate, the team removed (74) unexploded ordnance in the Al-Mudharabah district, and (58) unexploded ordnance in the Al-Wahd district. In Marib Governorate, the team removed one anti-tank mine and two unexploded ordnance in the Raghwan district, (25) anti-tank mines and (150) unexploded ordnance in the Marib district, and one anti-tank mine and (8) unexploded ordnance in the Usaylan district of Shabwa Governorate.
In Taiz Governorate, the team removed (34) unexploded ordnance in the Mawza district, (7) anti-personnel mines and (3) anti-tank mines, (268) unexploded ordnance in the Dhubab district, (71) unexploded ordnance in the Al-Mokha district, and (164) unexploded ordnance in the Al-Mudhaffar district.
Thus, the number of mines removed in May so far has risen to (4,207) mines, and the total number of mines removed since the beginning of the "Masam" project has reached (494,351) mines after being randomly planted in various Yemeni lands to claim the innocent lives of children, women, and the elderly, and to instill fear in the hearts of the secure.
