على طريقة أفلام هوليوود، اقتحمت جماعة مسلحة مكتب محافظ السويداء في سورية مصطفى البكور لإخراج أحد المطلوبين.
وأعلنت وزارة الإعلام السورية، (الأربعاء) في بيان أن «مجموعة مسلحة خارجة عن القانون اقتحمت مبنى محافظة السويداء بهدف إخراج المدعو راغب قرقوط المتهم بسرقة سيارات، والمجموعة كانت بقيادة المدعو طارق المغوش وآخرين، واقتحموا مبنى المحافظة خلال وجود المحافظ»، نقلاً عن وكالة الأنباء الألمانية.
وأضاف البيان أن المهاجمين «أشهروا الأسلحة بوجه المحافظ والموظفين، وجرى إطلاق سراح الموقوف تحت ضغط السلاح».
وأكد بيان وزارة الإعلام أن «فصائل السويداء الوطنية تدخلت على إثر الحادثة، وعملت على تأمين طريق خروج المحافظ من المكان وفرض القانون»، مشيرة إلى أن «حماية الأمن في المحافظة خيار لا رجعة فيه، ولن نتهاون في مواجهة أي محاولة لزعزعة الأمن أو المساس بمؤسسات الدولة».
وبحسب «العربية»، فإن محافظ السويداء، البكور، توجه إلى دمشق بعد انتهاء احتجازه. وذكرت المصادر أن «المسلحين احتجزوا محافظ السويداء في مبنى المحافظة قرابة ساعة».
وتبين أن المجموعة المسلحة التي نفذت الهجوم تنحدر من قرية «ذبين» في مدينة جنوبي سورية، وقامت المجموعة بالاعتداء على المحافظ داخل مكتبه وتهديده بالسلاح، ومصادرة مقتنياته الشخصية، بما فيها هواتفه المحمولة، وفق ما أوردته شبكة «شام» الإخبارية.
والسويداء ذات أغلبية درزية وتقع في جنوب غرب سورية. ويمثل الدروز أقلية دينية ناطقة بالعربية ويوجدون في سورية ولبنان وإسرائيل ومرتفعات الجولان السورية المحتلة، وتجمعهم في كثير من الأحيان روابط قرابة.
In a Hollywood-style incident, an armed group stormed the office of the governor of Sweida in Syria, Mustafa al-Bakur, to extract a wanted individual.
The Syrian Ministry of Information announced on Wednesday in a statement that "an armed group operating outside the law stormed the Sweida governorate building with the aim of extracting the individual named Raghib Qarqout, who is accused of car theft. The group was led by an individual named Tarek al-Maghoush and others, and they stormed the governorate building while the governor was present," according to the German news agency.
The statement added that the attackers "brandished weapons in front of the governor and the employees, and the detained individual was released under the threat of arms."
The Ministry of Information's statement confirmed that "the national factions of Sweida intervened following the incident, working to secure the governor's exit from the location and enforce the law," noting that "the protection of security in the governorate is an irreversible option, and we will not tolerate any attempt to undermine security or harm state institutions."
According to "Al-Arabiya," the governor of Sweida, al-Bakur, headed to Damascus after his detention ended. Sources mentioned that "the armed men held the governor of Sweida in the governorate building for about an hour."
It was revealed that the armed group that carried out the attack hails from the village of "Dhabin" in southern Syria. The group assaulted the governor inside his office, threatened him with weapons, and confiscated his personal belongings, including his mobile phones, according to the "Sham" news network.
Sweida has a Druze majority and is located in southwestern Syria. The Druze represent a religious minority that speaks Arabic and can be found in Syria, Lebanon, Israel, and the occupied Syrian Golan Heights, often connected by familial ties.
