أعربت وزارة الخارجية السعودية اليوم (الإثنين) عن إدانة المملكة بأشد العبارات تصعيد الاحتلال الإسرائيلي العسكري في شمال وجنوب قطاع غزة، وتوسعه في احتلال أجزاء واسعة من القطاع، وهو ما يتعارض مع إرادة المجتمع الدولي، وقانون حقوق الإنسان، ومواثيق الأمم المتحدة، ويحول دون تحقيق فرص السلام والاستقرار في المنطقة.
وجدّدت المملكة إدانتها وشجبها لكل العمليات البرية التي يقوم بها الاحتلال الإسرائيلي، لما في ذلك من تهديد لحياة المدنيين الفلسطينيين، ويفاقم المعاناة الإنسانية لسكان القطاع، محذرة من خطورة الاستمرار في هذه الانتهاكات الصارخة وغير المبررة، والمخالفة للقانون الدولي «بحق الشعب الفلسطيني الشقيق».
The Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed today (Monday) the Kingdom's strongest condemnation of the Israeli military escalation in the north and south of the Gaza Strip, and its expansion in occupying large parts of the territory, which contradicts the will of the international community, human rights law, and United Nations charters, and hinders the achievement of opportunities for peace and stability in the region.
The Kingdom reiterated its condemnation and denunciation of all ground operations carried out by the Israeli occupation, as they pose a threat to the lives of Palestinian civilians and exacerbate the humanitarian suffering of the residents of the Strip, warning of the dangers of continuing these blatant and unjustified violations, which are in violation of international law "against the dear Palestinian people."
