نتنياهو يفجّر الصراع.. اشتباكات بالعصي والأيدي بين متظاهرين إسرائيليين

Today (Saturday), clashes broke out between pro-prisoner demonstrators demanding a deal and a halt to the war, and supporters of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in southern Tel Aviv.

Activists shared a video on social media showing confrontations between several Netanyahu supporters and demonstrators in the Rehovot area south of Tel Aviv.

Israeli opposition leader Yair Lapid commented on the video on his "X" account, saying: "The violent attacks against a public that is only demanding the return of the captives are the result of the incitement of the violent poison machine led by the government," adding: "We will not stop and we will not abandon the hostages until they all return."

Einav Tsingauker, the mother of Israeli prisoner Matan, described Netanyahu's government as "bloodthirsty," accusing the Israeli Prime Minister of refusing to release the prisoners.

Tsingauker said: "The people demand the return of all prisoners, even at the cost of stopping the war, while Netanyahu and his bloodthirsty government oppose that," considering the Israeli aggression on Gaza to be "political," and "it will lead to the killing of the captives alive and burying our loved ones forever."

She pointed out that there is still an opportunity to release the Israeli captives before they are killed, calling for protests and going out into the streets to protest against Netanyahu's government policies and its failure to reach a prisoner exchange deal.

The Gaza-based Israeli Prisoners' Families Committee had demanded that Netanyahu and the negotiating delegation in Doha end the war and return their sons, indicating that only deals will save the hostages' lives.

The committee accused the Israeli Prime Minister of leading a war for political considerations, describing it as an eternal war aimed at establishing settlements in Gaza, emphasizing: "Netanyahu serves a radical minority, and the continuation of the war will kill the remaining hostages."

The committee called on U.S. President Donald Trump to put an end to Netanyahu and "Hamas" and this war, especially since military pressure will not return the captives but will kill them.

The statement added: "We must end the war in Gaza as we did in Lebanon; without the return of the prisoners, we will not stand up."
