أسفرت المواجهات العنيفة في عملية اعتقال زعيم جبهة الشعب السياسي المعارض في إقليم كردستان العراق لاهور شيخ جنكي، عن سقوط 3 قتلى و20 مصابا. وأعلن مصدر أمني أن القوات الأمنية تقوم بعملية تمشيط لمناطق الاشتباكات.
وأظهر مقطع فيديو نشر، اليوم (الجمعة)، لحظة اعتقال شيخ جنكي من قبل قوات أمنية في مدينة السليمانية.
وفي الفيديو الذي نشرته شبكة «روداو» الإعلامية، ظهر شيخ جنكي محاطا بعشرات العناصر الأمنية بزي عسكري، أثناء اقتياده إلى سيارة تابعة للقوات.
وسبقت عملية اعتقال لاهور شيخ جنكي، اشتباكات استمرت لنحو 4 ساعات بالقرب من فندق «لالازار» في السليمانية، حيث كان يقيم.
وأفاد مصدر أمني لشبكة «روداو» باعتقال لاهور شيخ جنكي واثنين من أشقائه، هما بولاد وآسو. وأكد اعتقال الشقيق بولاد شيخ جنكي مصابا بجروح، بعد أن رفض تسليم نفسه لقوات الأمن. وتحدثت تقارير عن مقتل 3 أشخاص وإصابة 20 آخرين جراء الاشتباكات التي تخللت اعتقال رئيس حزب جبهة الشعب.
من جانبها، أعلنت المديرية العامة لمكافحة الإرهاب في السليمانية مقتل أحد منتسبيها خلال عملية أمنية، وأكدت القبض على عدد من الخارجين عن القانون.
وكانت محكمة تحقيقات أمن السليمانية، أصدرت أمس (الخميس)، وفقا للمادة 56 من قانون العقوبات العراقي، أمرا بالقبض على لاهور شيخ جنكي.

A video published today (Friday) showed the moment Sheikh Jangi was arrested by security forces in the city of Sulaymaniyah.
In the video released by the "Rudaw" media network, Sheikh Jangi appeared surrounded by dozens of security personnel in military uniforms as he was being led to a vehicle belonging to the forces.
Prior to the arrest of Lahor Sheikh Jangi, clashes lasted for about 4 hours near the "Lalazar" hotel in Sulaymaniyah, where he was staying.
A security source told the "Rudaw" network that Lahor Sheikh Jangi and two of his brothers, Bolad and Asu, were arrested. The arrest of his brother Bolad Sheikh Jangi was confirmed, who was injured after refusing to surrender to the security forces. Reports indicated that 3 people were killed and 20 others were injured due to the clashes that accompanied the arrest of the head of the People's Front party.
For its part, the Directorate General for Combating Terrorism in Sulaymaniyah announced the death of one of its members during the security operation and confirmed the arrest of several lawbreakers.
