قررت محكمة الوزراء تأجيل محاكمة الشيخ أحمد الفهد إلى 24 يونيو القادم، وذلك من أجل استدعاء الشهود في قضية المصروفات السرية لوزارة الدفاع، والمتعلقة بشراء ساعات ومركبات تبلغ قيمتها 400 ألف دينار.
وحجزت المحكمة التظلم على حفظ بلاغ وحدة التحريات المالية بتدخل الفهد بالانتخابات للحكم في نفس اليوم.
وفي أحداث جلسة المحاكمة، أودع أحمد الفهد شيكاً بقيمة المبلغ المتهم باختلاسه، مطالباً بتسليمه إلى إدارة التنفيذ، فيما طالب دفاعه بحضور شهود الإثبات وضابط الواقعة وقدم حافظة مستندات.
وطالب دفاع الفهد بتزويده بالمصروفات السرية لوزارة الدفاع من عام 1962 إلى قبل تولي موكله الوزارة.
The Council of Ministers' court has decided to postpone the trial of Sheikh Ahmad Al-Fahad to June 24, in order to summon witnesses in the case of the secret expenses of the Ministry of Defense, related to the purchase of watches and vehicles worth 400,000 dinars.
The court reserved the appeal regarding the dismissal of the financial investigations unit's report on Al-Fahad's interference in the elections to be ruled on the same day.
During the trial session, Ahmad Al-Fahad submitted a check for the amount he is accused of embezzling, requesting that it be handed over to the execution department, while his defense demanded the presence of witnesses and the officer involved, and submitted a document folder.
Al-Fahad's defense requested to be provided with the secret expenses of the Ministry of Defense from 1962 until before their client assumed the ministry.
