استقبل مفتي عام المملكة رئيس هيئة كبار العلماء الرئيس العام للبحوث العلمية والإفتاء الدكتور صالح بن فوزان بن عبدالله الفوزان، بمكتبه في مقر الرئاسة بالرياض، أعضاء هيئة كبار العلماء.
وقدّم أعضاء هيئة كبار العلماء تهنئتهم للدكتور الفوزان بمناسبة الأمر الملكي بتعيينه مفتيًا عامًا للمملكة ورئيسًا لهيئة كبار العلماء والبحوث العلمية والإفتاء، منوهين بما يتمتع به من الرسوخ العلمي، وجهوده في نشر العلم الشرعي.
وقال الدكتور الفوزان: «لقد منّ الله تعالى علينا بهذا الدين، وبهذا البلد الأمين المملكة العربية السعودية التي تستمدّ نهجها من كتاب الله عز وجل، وسنة رسوله ﷺ، وتشرف بخدمة الحرمين الشريفين، ويبذل ولاة أمرها - أيّدهم الله - الجهود الكبيرة لخدمة الإسلام والمسلمين، سائلًا الله تعالى أن يجزي خادم الحرمين الشريفين وولي العهد رئيس مجلس الوزراء خير الجزاء، وأن يحفظ بلادنا وسائر بلاد المسلمين».
وقدّم شكره لأعضاء هيئة كبار العلماء، مؤكدًا استمرار الهيئة في نهجها بالنظر فيما يحال إليها من الجهات والأفراد من استفتاءات ومسائل شرعية بحسب اختصاصها.
حضر الاستقبال الأمين العام لهيئة كبار العلماء واللجنة الدائمة للفتوى المشرف العام على مكتب المفتي الدكتور فهد بن سعد الماجد.
The Grand Mufti of the Kingdom, Chairman of the Council of Senior Scholars, and President of the Scientific Research and Ifta Committee, Dr. Saleh bin Fawzan bin Abdullah Al-Fawzan, received the members of the Council of Senior Scholars in his office at the headquarters in Riyadh.
The members of the Council of Senior Scholars offered their congratulations to Dr. Al-Fawzan on the royal decree appointing him as the Grand Mufti of the Kingdom and Chairman of the Council of Senior Scholars and Scientific Research and Ifta, noting his deep knowledge and efforts in spreading Islamic knowledge.
Dr. Al-Fawzan said: "Allah has blessed us with this religion and with this safe country, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which derives its path from the Book of Allah Almighty and the Sunnah of His Messenger ﷺ, and is honored to serve the Two Holy Mosques. The rulers of this country - may Allah support them - exert great efforts to serve Islam and Muslims, asking Allah to reward the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and the Crown Prince, Prime Minister, with the best reward, and to protect our country and all Muslim countries."
He expressed his gratitude to the members of the Council of Senior Scholars, affirming the Council's commitment to its approach in considering the inquiries and legal issues referred to it by individuals and entities according to its jurisdiction.
The Secretary-General of the Council of Senior Scholars and the Permanent Committee for Ifta, Dr. Fahd bin Saad Al-Majid, attended the reception.
