لا يزال رئيس الوزراء الإسرائيلي بنيامين نتنياهو مصرّاً على الرمي بكل الجهود الدولية جانباً والإصرار على الحرب تنفيذاً لرغبة وزرائه المتطرفين، وهي خطوة تنذر بخطر كبير وتضع الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية التي تعد الضامن الرئيسي لاتفاق شرم الشيخ في مأزق كبير.
تصريحات الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترمب يجب أن لا تستمر في تبرير الهجمات الإسرائيلية على المدنيين العزّل في غزة خصوصاً مخيمات النازحين، بل يجب أن تكون قوية وصارمة وتضع حداً لبلطجة نتنياهو التي لن تقتل الشعب الفلسطيني فحسب بل تنذر بكارثة كبيرة تهدد استقرار المنطقة بالكامل.
إن تأكيدات الوزراء المتطرفين في حكومة نتنياهو وإصرارهم على حرب الإبادة في غزة وضغوطاتهم المستمرة على جيش الاحتلال لارتكاب مزيد من جرائم الإبادة سيكتوي بها الإسرائيليون أيضاً، خصوصاً بعد منع جندي في قوات الاحتياط الإسرائيلية من دخول دولة التشيك بطلب من السلطات الفرنسية بارتكاب مجازر كبيرة في غزة.
توجيه نتنياهو بضربة عسكرية على غزة خلال الساعات الماضية ثم العودة لاستئناف وقف إطلاق النار من قبل جيش الاحتلال الإسرائيلي تمثل رصاصة قاتلة لجهود تحقيق السلام وبناء الثقة بين الفلسطينيين والإسرائيليين وصولاً على سلام دائم وتنفيذ مخرجات حل الدولتين، ولذا ينبغي على الإدارة الأمريكية عدم تجاهل نتائج هذه العملية على مستقبل المنطقة والسلم الدوليين.

Statements by U.S. President Donald Trump should no longer continue to justify Israeli attacks on unarmed civilians in Gaza, especially in the refugee camps; rather, they should be strong and firm, putting an end to Netanyahu's bullying that will not only kill the Palestinian people but also herald a major catastrophe threatening the stability of the entire region.
The assurances of the extremist ministers in Netanyahu's government and their insistence on the genocide in Gaza, along with their ongoing pressures on the occupying army to commit further acts of genocide, will also backfire on the Israelis, especially after a soldier in the Israeli reserve forces was prevented from entering the Czech Republic at the request of French authorities due to committing large-scale massacres in Gaza.
Netanyahu's directive for a military strike on Gaza in the past hours, followed by the resumption of a ceasefire by the Israeli occupying army, represents a fatal blow to efforts to achieve peace and build trust between Palestinians and Israelis, ultimately reaching a lasting peace and implementing the outcomes of the two-state solution. Therefore, the U.S. administration should not ignore the implications of this operation on the future of the region and international peace.
