أمير جازان يرعى معرض الأولمبياد الوطني للإبداع العلمي «إبداع جازان 2026»

The Prince of Jazan Region, Prince Mohammed bin Abdulaziz, attended the National Olympiad for Scientific Creativity (Jazan Creativity 2026), accompanied by his deputy, Prince Nasser bin Mohammed bin Abdullah bin Jalawi. The event was organized by the General Administration of Education in the region in partnership with the King Abdulaziz and His Men Foundation for Talent and Creativity (Mawhiba), at the Prince Sultan Cultural Center in the city of Jazan.

The Prince of Jazan toured the accompanying exhibition and listened to explanations about the innovations of male and female students and the stages of their development, which included (55) projects that varied between research and innovations in the fields of sustainable environment, energy economics, and human health.

The Prince praised the quality projects presented by talented students, noting the leadership's commitment to creating a competitive environment that fosters creativity among students in scientific and technical fields, which contributes to honing their skills and enhancing their capabilities to compete and represent the nation in international forums. He appreciated the efforts of the Ministry of Education and the Mawhiba Foundation in supporting, nurturing, and motivating talented students.

Dr. Maysa bint Mohammed Al-Qurashi, Deputy Secretary-General of the King Abdulaziz and His Men Foundation for Talent and Creativity, regarded the National Olympiad for Scientific Creativity as one of the leading national programs that embodies the integrative partnership between the Ministry of Education and Mawhiba, and as an outstanding model for promoting a culture of scientific research and innovation in the educational community. She pointed out that this year marks the 16th cycle of the program, which has achieved continuous successes that contributed to building a national system for talent and creativity, and creating a wide scientific movement among students in various regions of the Kingdom, culminating in the Kingdom achieving advanced global rankings in international forums.

For his part, the General Director of Education in the region, Malhi bin Hassan Aqdi, stated that the exhibition featured (55) projects from boys and girls, in addition to 2,180 projects submitted electronically for the competition, out of more than 31,000 male and female students from the General Administration of Education in Jazan who registered for the Mawhiba competition this year.

The ceremony included a parade for the creative students participating in the exhibition and honoring the partners of success.
