غداً.. انطلاق تصفيات مسابقة «كأس فرسان علم السموم العرب»

As part of the activities of the sixth international conference "Knowledge, Skill, and Ability in Pharmacy and Toxicology," which is held under the umbrella of the Global Summit for Excellence in Forensic Medical Sciences under the patronage of the Minister of Health, and within the framework of the Global Health Forum in the capital Riyadh, the first qualifiers of the "Arab Toxicology Knights Cup" competition will kick off tomorrow (Friday), October 24, 2025. This competition is the first of its kind in the Arab world, with the participation of 31 Arab universities and under the supervision of a select group of specialists and researchers in toxicology and pharmacy, in collaboration with the General Secretariat of the Union of Arab Universities.

Competition Stages

The activities of the first and second stages of the competition will begin in the Eastern Province in the city of Dammam, under the supervision and support of the Ministry of Health branch in the Eastern Province, in collaboration with the Forensic Medical Services Center in the region and with the support of the Saudi Pharmaceutical Society, with wide participation from local and international universities and professional cadres in the fields of toxicology and forensic medical services.

The competition aims to enhance the spirit of joint professional learning among all medical specialties in the field of toxicology, highlight the young Arab minds capable of contributing to the development of knowledge, and train them on modern applications in the fields of detection, analysis, and prevention, in addition to stimulating scientific cooperation among Arab countries within a unified vision to elevate the level of health and forensic medical services.

Final Qualifiers

The third final qualifiers will be held in the capital Riyadh from October 27 to 29 as part of the activities of the Global Summit for Excellence in Forensic Medical Sciences, where the winners will be announced and honored during the closing ceremony of the summit in the presence of a select group of experts and health and scientific leaders from within and outside the Kingdom.

The Director General of the Ministry of Health branch and Chairman of the Higher Advisory Committee for the Pharmacy and Toxicology Conference, Alwan Al-Shamrani, stated that the competition represents a pioneering Arab step to establish a culture of scientific excellence and stimulate creativity and joint professional practice in the field of toxicology, confirming that the final qualifiers will be held in the capital Riyadh as part of the closing activities of the Global Summit for Excellence in Forensic Medical Sciences under the patronage of the Minister of Health.
