نقل نائب وزير الخارجية المهندس وليد بن عبدالكريم الخريجي، تحيات وتقدير خادم الحرمين الشريفين الملك سلمان بن عبدالعزيز، وولي العهد رئيس مجلس الوزراء الأمير محمد بن سلمان، لرئيس جمهورية غانا جون دراماني مهاما وشعب غانا الصديق، وذلك خلال استقبال رئيس غانا للخريجي في العاصمة أكرا، أمس، خلال زيارته الرسمية.
فيما حمّل رئيس غانا الخريجي تحياته وتقديره لخادم الحرمين الشريفين، وولي العهد، وجرى خلال الاستقبال، استعراض العلاقات المشتركة بين البلدين والشعبين الصديقين وسبل تعزيزها وتطويرها في شتى المجالات، بالإضافة إلى مناقشة أبرز المستجدات على الساحتين الإقليمية والدولية.
من جهة ثانية، ترأس نائب وزير الخارجية ووزير الشؤون الخارجية بجمهورية غانا صامويل أوكود زيتو أبلاكوا، الجولة الأولى للجنة المشاورات السياسية بين وزارتي خارجية البلدين الصديقين، حيث استعرض خلالها أوجه التعاون السياسي بين البلدين، ومناقشة تكثيف التعاون المتعدد الأطراف في القضايا الدولية ذات الاهتمام المشترك، ووقع الجانبان على اتفاقية عامة للتعاون بين حكومة المملكة العربية السعودية وحكومة جمهورية غانا، التي تهدف إلى تطوير التعاون المشترك في المجالات، الاقتصادية، والاستثمارية، والتعليمية، والثقافية.
حضر اللقاء وتوقيع الاتفاقية، سفير خادم الحرمين الشريفين لدى جمهورية غانا، سلطان الدخيل، ومدير عام الإدارة الأفريقية بوزارة الخارجية صقر القرشي.
وجرى خلال اللقاء، مناقشة سبل تعزيز وتطوير العلاقات بين البلدين والشعبين الصديقين في العديد من المجالات المختلفة، وبحث المستجدات على الساحتين الإقليمية والدولية والجهود المبذولة بشأنها.
The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Engineer Walid bin Abdul Karim Al-Khuraiji, conveyed the greetings and appreciation of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, and the Crown Prince, Prime Minister Prince Mohammed bin Salman, to the President of the Republic of Ghana, John Dramani Mahama, and the friendly people of Ghana, during the reception of Al-Khuraiji by the President of Ghana in the capital, Accra, yesterday, during his official visit.
Meanwhile, the President of Ghana entrusted Al-Khuraiji with his greetings and appreciation to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and the Crown Prince. During the reception, they reviewed the mutual relations between the two friendly countries and peoples and ways to enhance and develop them in various fields, in addition to discussing the most prominent developments on the regional and international arenas.
On another note, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Ghana, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, chaired the first round of the Political Consultations Committee between the foreign ministries of the two friendly countries, during which they reviewed aspects of political cooperation between the two countries and discussed intensifying multilateral cooperation on international issues of common interest. The two sides signed a general agreement for cooperation between the Government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Government of the Republic of Ghana, aimed at developing joint cooperation in the economic, investment, educational, and cultural fields.
The meeting and the signing of the agreement were attended by the Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to the Republic of Ghana, Sultan Al-Dakhil, and the Director General of the African Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Saqr Al-Qurashi.
During the meeting, ways to enhance and develop relations between the two friendly countries and peoples in various fields were discussed, along with the developments on the regional and international arenas and the efforts being made regarding them.
