أعلنت الهيئة العامة للطيران المدني تعرض مطار الملك فهد الدولي بالدمام لاعتداء مساء (الأربعاء)، أسفر عن وفاة مقيم، وإصابة 8 أشخاص آخرين بجروح متفاوتة بين الطفيفة والبليغة.
وأوضحت الهيئة أن المصابين نُقلوا بشكل فوري إلى المستشفى لتلقي الرعاية الطبية اللازمة، مؤكدة أن الأضرار المادية الناجمة عن الاعتداء لا تزال قيد الحصر والتقييم.
وأعربت الهيئة العامة للطيران المدني عن أسفها للحادث، مشيرة إلى أنها ستعلن عن المستجدات المتعلقة بالواقعة في وقت لاحق.
The General Authority of Civil Aviation announced that King Fahd International Airport in Dammam was subjected to an attack on Wednesday evening, resulting in the death of one resident and injuries to 8 other individuals with varying degrees of severity from minor to serious.
The authority clarified that the injured were immediately transferred to the hospital to receive the necessary medical care, confirming that the material damages resulting from the attack are still being assessed and evaluated.
The General Authority of Civil Aviation expressed its regret over the incident, indicating that it will announce updates related to the incident later.
