With the signing of the amended protocol for the establishment of the Saudi-Jordanian Higher Coordination Council, chaired by Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz and King Abdullah II bin Al-Hussein of Jordan, the two brotherly countries are moving towards an advanced step in enhancing cooperation and joint coordination in various fields, serving their interests and those of their peoples. Riyadh and Amman have previously signed more than one agreement and memorandum of understanding, particularly in the areas of investment, sustainable economic cooperation, exchange of expertise, and keeping pace with regional and global developmental transformations.
In the political field, the two countries share a common vision regarding regional and international situations, standing firmly against anything that threatens their security and stability, and working together with continuous coordination on the foundations of peace and stability both regionally and internationally.
The strong and deep-rooted relations that bind Saudi Arabia and Jordan, along with the ongoing consultations between their leaderships, all serve the interests of the two brotherly peoples and support Arab and Islamic causes, in a unique model that should prevail among all nations, for further building, growth, stability, unity, and solidarity.
