في سياق تعزيز التعاون العدلي بين المملكة العربية السعودية وجمهورية إيطاليا؛ التقى وزير العدل الدكتور وليد بن محمد الصمعاني نظيره الإيطالي كارلو نورديو، وذلك خلال الزيارة الرسمية التي يقوم بها إلى إيطاليا.
وبحث الجانبان سبل تطوير التعاون القضائي وتبادل الخبرات في مجالات التشريعات والأنظمة العدلية؛ بما يسهم في رفع كفاءة منظومة العدالة في البلدين.
واستعرض الدكتور الصمعاني أبرز التطورات التي يشهدها القطاع العدلي في المملكة بدعم من خادم الحرمين الشريفين الملك سلمان بن عبدالعزيز، وبمتابعة من ولي العهد رئيس مجلس الوزراء الأمير محمد بن سلمان، لا سيما في مجالات التشريعات المتخصصة.
كما أشار إلى عدد من الإصلاحات التي تشهدها المنظومة العدلية، ومن ذلك تفعيل منظومة العدالة الوقائية، وتعزيز الضمانات وترسيخ مبادئ الشفافية من خلال توثيق الجلسات القضائية بالصوت والصورة ونشر الأحكام.
ووقع الوزيران مذكرة تفاهم تهدف إلى تعزيز التعاون في النظم القضائية وتطوير الكفاءات المهنية للقضاة ومنسوبي القطاعات العدلية؛ بما يعزز التكامل وتبادل الخبرات بين البلدين.
In the context of enhancing judicial cooperation between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Republic of Italy, Minister of Justice Dr. Walid bin Mohammed Al-Samaani met with his Italian counterpart Carlo Nordio during the official visit he is making to Italy.
The two sides discussed ways to develop judicial cooperation and exchange experiences in the fields of legislation and judicial systems, which contributes to raising the efficiency of the justice system in both countries.
Dr. Al-Samaani reviewed the key developments taking place in the judicial sector in the Kingdom, supported by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz, and under the supervision of Crown Prince and Prime Minister Prince Mohammed bin Salman, particularly in the areas of specialized legislation.
He also pointed to several reforms occurring within the judicial system, including the activation of the preventive justice system, enhancing guarantees, and establishing principles of transparency through documenting court sessions with audio and video and publishing rulings.
The two ministers signed a memorandum of understanding aimed at enhancing cooperation in judicial systems and developing the professional competencies of judges and personnel in the judicial sectors, which strengthens integration and the exchange of experiences between the two countries.
