The princes of the regions, their deputies, ministers, and officials extended their congratulations to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, and the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, Prince Mohammed bin Salman, on the occasion of the Saudi national football team qualifying for the 2026 World Cup for the seventh time in the history of Saudi football and the third consecutive time. They pointed out that this achievement confirms the high status of Saudi sports—thanks to God—and the resources that the leadership has provided to support Saudi sports in various fields. They also affirmed that this qualification demonstrates the ability of the sons of this country to raise the flag of the nation high in all global forums. It embodies the attention that the leadership gives to empowering the citizens and encouraging them to excel and raise the Kingdom's flag in regional and international arenas, reflecting the progress that Saudi sports has achieved under Vision 2030.
They also congratulated on this occasion the Minister of Sports, Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki Al Faisal, the Saudi Football Federation, the players of the Saudi national team, and the members of the technical and administrative staff for their qualification, asking God to grant them success in their upcoming participations, and to preserve the Kingdom's leadership, security, and prosperity.
