دشن أمير المنطقة الشرقية الأمير سعود بن نايف بن عبدالعزيز، اليوم (الأحد)، مركز الخفجي للخدمات المساندة للتربية الخاصة، بحضور المستشار الخاص لخادم الحرمين الشريفين رئيس مجلس إدارة جمعية الأطفال ذوي الإعاقة الأمير سلطان بن سلمان بن عبدالعزيز.
وزارا مقر المركز، واطلعا على ما يُقدَّم للمستفيدين من خدمات تأهيلية وعلاجية تخصصية، تعكس جهود الجمعية في توفير بيئة مناسبة لرعاية الأطفال ذوي الإعاقة وتمكينهم من الاندماج في المجتمع، والتقيا بالأطفال ذوي الإعاقة وتبادلا معهم الأحاديث الأبوية، كما اطلعا على الأنشطة والبرامج التعليمية والترفيهية المقدمة لهم.
وأكد أمير المنطقة الشرقية أن القيادة الرشيدة تولي اهتماما كبيرا بالأشخاص ذوي الإعاقة، وتحرص على تهيئة المراكز المتخصصة التي تقدم لهم الرعاية والخدمات الشاملة، بما يضمن دمجهم في المجتمع وتمكينهم من المشاركة في التنمية الوطنية، مثمنا دور القطاع الخاص في دعم هذه المراكز والمبادرات الإنسانية التي تسهم في تحسين جودة حياة المستفيدين، متمنيا أن يقدم مركز الخفجي للخدمات المساندة للتربية الخاصة خدمات مميزة تسهم في رعاية وتأهيل الأطفال ذوي الإعاقة بالمحافظة.
وألقى الرئيس كبير الإداريين التنفيذيين بالإنابة لشركة أرامكو لأعمال الخليج المهندس فيصل الذواد كلمة رفع فيها شكره للأمير سعود بن نايف بن عبدالعزيز، على رعايته الكريمة للحفل، وللأمير سلطان بن سلمان بن عبدالعزيز، على جهوده المباركة في خدمة هذه الفئة الغالية، مؤكدا أن تدشين المركز في محافظة الخفجي يجسد عمق الشراكة المجتمعية بين شركة أرامكو لأعمال الخليج وشركة شيفرون العربية السعودية والجمعية، ويعكس اهتمام القيادة الرشيدة بتمكين القطاع غير الربحي وتعزيز جودة الحياة، مثمنا تعاون الجهات الحكومية ومحافظة الخفجي على دعمهم المستمر لإنجاح هذه المبادرة، مؤكدا التزام الشركة بمواصلة دورها في خدمة المجتمع وتعزيز التنمية المستدامة في المنطقة.
حضر الحفل محافظ الخفجي محمد بن سلطان الهزاع، ومساعد وزير الطاقة لشؤون البترول والغاز المهندس محمد بن عبدالرحمن البراهيم، وعدد من رؤساء الشركات والمديرين التنفيذيين وممثلي الجهات الحكومية.
The Prince of the Eastern Province, Prince Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, inaugurated today (Sunday) the Al Khobar Center for Support Services for Special Education, in the presence of the Special Advisor to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Association for Disabled Children, Prince Sultan bin Salman bin Abdulaziz.
They visited the center's premises and reviewed the specialized rehabilitation and therapeutic services provided to beneficiaries, reflecting the association's efforts to create a suitable environment for caring for children with disabilities and enabling them to integrate into society. They also met with children with disabilities and exchanged fatherly conversations with them, as well as observed the educational and recreational activities offered to them.
The Prince of the Eastern Province emphasized that the wise leadership places great importance on people with disabilities and is keen on preparing specialized centers that provide them with comprehensive care and services, ensuring their integration into society and enabling them to participate in national development. He appreciated the role of the private sector in supporting these centers and humanitarian initiatives that contribute to improving the quality of life for beneficiaries, wishing that the Al Khobar Center for Support Services for Special Education would provide distinguished services that contribute to the care and rehabilitation of children with disabilities in the province.
The Acting Chief Executive Officer of Aramco Gulf Operations, Engineer Faisal Al-Dhuwad, delivered a speech in which he expressed his gratitude to Prince Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz for his generous patronage of the ceremony, and to Prince Sultan bin Salman bin Abdulaziz for his blessed efforts in serving this precious group. He affirmed that the inauguration of the center in Al Khobar embodies the depth of community partnership between Aramco Gulf Operations, Chevron Saudi Arabia, and the association, reflecting the leadership's interest in empowering the non-profit sector and enhancing the quality of life. He appreciated the cooperation of government entities and the Al Khobar governorate for their continuous support in making this initiative successful, affirming the company's commitment to continue its role in serving the community and promoting sustainable development in the region.
The ceremony was attended by the Governor of Al Khobar, Mohammed bin Sultan Al-Hazza, the Assistant Minister of Energy for Petroleum and Gas, Engineer Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Ibrahim, and a number of company presidents, executives, and representatives of government entities.
