فيما تداولت مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي تحذيراً مجهول المصدر بشأن اختراق موقع شركة الكهرباء السعودية بعد إرسال رابط للمشتركين المسجلة أسماؤهم في أنظمة الشركة، يخص تحديث سياسة الخصوصية وحماية البيانات، ما أدى إلى حدوث ربكة وأثار تساؤلات لدى المشتركين، أكدت الشركة في بيان عبر حسابها في منصة (X) أن موقعها الإلكتروني يعمل بشكل طبيعي، وأن أنظمتها التقنية تعمل بكفاءة عالية وتخضع لأعلى معايير الأمان والموثوقية.
وأشارت الشركة إلى أن الرابط المرسل للمشتركين ضمن الرسالة النصية، ذا الامتداد المرتبط بالنطاق (https://4se.sa) المملوك للشركة السعودية للكهرباء، والموجه إلى الأرقام المسجلة في أنظمة الشركة بشأن تحديث سياسة الخصوصية وحماية البيانات، هو رابط رسمي وآمن، ويأتي في إطار التزام الشركة بالشفافية وتطبيق أفضل الممارسات في حماية بيانات المشتركين.
ودعت الشركة جميع المشتركين إلى تحرّي الدقة واستقاء المعلومات من قنواتها الرسمية فقط، وعدم التفاعل مع الرسائل أو الروابط مجهولة المصدر.

The company indicated that the link sent to subscribers in the text message, with the extension associated with the domain (https://4se.sa) owned by the Saudi Electricity Company, directed to the numbers registered in the company's systems regarding the update of the privacy policy and data protection, is an official and secure link, and comes as part of the company's commitment to transparency and the implementation of best practices in protecting subscriber data.
The company urged all subscribers to verify information and obtain it only from its official channels, and not to interact with messages or links of unknown origin.
