وكتب آل الشيخ عبر حسابه على منصة «X»: «أسعد خبر سمعته اليوم أن مانشستر يونايتد الآن في مرحلة متقدمة من إتمام صفقة بيعه لمستثمر جديد، يا رب يكون أحسن من الملاك السابقين».
ولم تُكشف بعد تفاصيل الصفقة المحتملة، في وقت يعيش النادي المملوك لعائلة غليزر مع شراكة جزئية من جيم راتكليف حالة من تراجع النتائج بالدوري الإنجليزي، وسط غضب متزايد من جماهيره.
مباراة ودية محتملة في السعودية
وفي سياق آخر، أفاد تقرير صحفي الأسبوع الماضي، بأن فريق مانشستر يونايتد قد يخوض مباراة ودية منتصف الموسم الجاري أمام النصر.
وبحسب صحيفة «ديلي إكسبريس» البريطانية، يدرس مانشستر يونايتد خيار إقامة مباراة ودية في السعودية، في ظل غيابه عن المشاركات الأوروبية هذا الموسم.
وأضافت الصحيفة أن المحادثات لا تزال جارية بشأن إقامة هذه المواجهة المحتملة، التي قد تشهد مواجهة النجم البرتغالي قائد النصر كريستيانو رونالدو فريقه السابق مانشستر يونايتد.

In another context, a news report last week indicated that Manchester United might play a friendly match in the middle of the current season against Al Nassr.
According to the British newspaper "Daily Express," Manchester United is considering the option of holding a friendly match in Saudi Arabia, given its absence from European competitions this season.
The newspaper added that discussions are still ongoing regarding the potential match, which could see the Portuguese star and Al Nassr captain Cristiano Ronaldo face his former team Manchester United.
