هوت العملة المشفرة «LAPTOP»، التي أطلقها هانتر بايدن نجل الرئيس الأمريكي السابق جو بايدن، بأكثر من 99% بعد عمليات بيع واسعة، ما ألحق خسائر بنحو 11.5 ألف محفظة تجاوزت 6.4 مليون دولار. وذلك بحسب ما نشر موقع «العربية نت».
وقفزت العملة عقب إطلاقها من نحو 37 دولاراً إلى 222 دولاراً، قبل أن تنهار خلال ساعتين إلى نحو 75 سنتاً للعملة، وسط موجة بيع حادة.
مشروع مختلف
وكان هانتر بايدن قد قدم «LAPTOP» باعتبارها مشروعاً مختلفاً عن عملات «MEME» التقليدية، مع تخصيص أجزاء من المعروض للمجتمع والأعمال الخيرية.
وأعاد الانهيار السريع للعملة تسليط الضوء على المخاطر المرتفعة في سوق العملات الساخرة، لا سيما في ظل ضعف السيولة وتركيز الملكية في عدد محدود من المحافظ.

The currency surged from around $37 to $222 shortly after its launch, before collapsing within two hours to about 75 cents, amid a sharp sell-off.
A Different Project
Hunter Biden had presented "LAPTOP" as a project distinct from traditional "MEME" coins, allocating portions of the supply to the community and charitable causes.
The rapid collapse of the currency has once again highlighted the high risks in the meme coin market, especially given the weak liquidity and the concentration of ownership in a limited number of wallets.
