استقبل ولي العهد رئيس مجلس وزراء مملكة البحرين الأمير سلمان بن حمد آل خليفة، أمس (الثلاثاء)، في المنامة، وزير الخارجية الأمير فيصل بن فرحان بن عبدالله، الذي نقل تحيات خادم الحرمين الشريفين الملك سلمان بن عبدالعزيز، وولي العهد رئيس مجلس الوزراء الأمير محمد بن سلمان، للقيادة البحرينية، وتمنياتهما لحكومة وشعب البحرين الشقيق المزيد من التقدّم والازدهار. وحمّل ولي عهد البحرين، تحيات وتقدير القيادة البحرينية لخادم الحرمين الشريفين وولي العهد، والتمنيات لحكومة وشعب المملكة بالمزيد من التقدم والازدهار.
وجرى خلال الاستقبال استعراض العلاقات الأخوية بين البلدين الشقيقين، وسبل تعزيزها على كافة المستويات بما يخدم تطلعات قيادتي وشعبي البلدين، ومناقشة المستجدات على الساحتين الإقليمية والدولية.
من جهة ثانية، التقى وزير الخارجية نظيره البحريني الدكتور عبداللطيف راشد الزياني. وجرى خلال اللقاء استعراض العلاقات الثنائية بين البلدين، ومناقشة مستجدات الأوضاع الإقليمية والدولية والموضوعات ذات الاهتمام المشترك.
وترأس الجانبان، اجتماع اللجنة التنفيذية المنبثقة من مجلس التنسيق السعودي-البحريني الذي يرأسه ولي العهد رئيس مجلس الوزراء الأمير محمد بن سلمان، وأخوه ولي العهد رئيس مجلس الوزراء في مملكة البحرين الأمير سلمان بن حمد آل خليفة.
وأكد الزياني، أن البلدين والشعبين الشقيقين تربطهما علاقات تاريخية راسخة وروابط أخوية متينة، تحظى -على الدوام- برعاية واهتمام من قيادتي البلدين الشقيقين.
من جانبه، أشاد وزير الخارجية، بما يمثّله اجتماع اللجنة التنفيذية من دليل على الرغبة المتبادلة والالتزام الجاد بمواصلة تعزيز التعاون والتنسيق والتكامل الثنائي على المستويات كافة، والسعي المشترك لدفع مسارات العمل والمبادرات الثنائية نحو آفاق أرحب تحت توجيهات القيادة الحكيمة للبلدين الشقيقين.
واستعرضت اللجنة التنفيذية خلال الاجتماع تقرير الأداء السنوي للجان المنبثقة من مجلس التنسيق السعودي-البحريني لعامي 2024-2025م، واطلعت على عرض مرئي شمل متابعة وقياس أداء المستهدفات والمبادرات المشتركة بين البلدين، ونتائج أداء الجهات المختصة خلال تنفيذ مستهدفاتها ومبادراتها المشتركة.
واعتمدت اللجنة الخطة الزمنية لأعمال المجلس ولجانه المنبثقة خلال العامين 2025-2026م، إضافة إلى توجيه رؤساء اللجان المنبثقة عن المجلس بالعمل على استكمال تنفيذ المبادرات المتوافق عليها.
وفي نهاية الاجتماع، تم التوقيع على محضر اجتماع اللجنة التنفيذية من قبل رئيسي اللجنة.
حضر الاجتماع سفير خادم الحرمين الشريفين لدى مملكة البحرين نايف السديري، والمدير العام لمكتب وزير الخارجية وليد السماعيل، ومستشار الوزير محمد اليحيى، ورئيس فرق عمل الجانب السعودي في الأمانة العامة لمجلس التنسيق السعودي-البحريني المهندس فهد الحارثي.

The Crown Prince and Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Bahrain, Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, received yesterday (Tuesday) in Manama, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, who conveyed the greetings of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, and the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, Prince Mohammed bin Salman, to the Bahraini leadership, along with their wishes for the government and people of brotherly Bahrain for further progress and prosperity. The Crown Prince of Bahrain conveyed the greetings and appreciation of the Bahraini leadership to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and the Crown Prince, along with wishes for the government and people of the Kingdom for more progress and prosperity.
During the reception, the fraternal relations between the two brotherly countries were reviewed, as well as ways to enhance them at all levels to serve the aspirations of the leaderships and peoples of both countries, and to discuss developments on the regional and international fronts.
On another note, the Minister of Foreign Affairs met with his Bahraini counterpart, Dr. Abdullatif Rashid Al Zayani. During the meeting, they reviewed the bilateral relations between the two countries and discussed the latest developments in regional and international situations and topics of mutual interest.
The two sides chaired a meeting of the executive committee emanating from the Saudi-Bahraini Coordination Council, which is chaired by the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, Prince Mohammed bin Salman, and his brother, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Bahrain, Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa.
Al Zayani affirmed that the two countries and their brotherly peoples are linked by strong historical relations and solid fraternal ties, which are always nurtured and cared for by the leaderships of the two brotherly countries.
For his part, the Minister of Foreign Affairs praised what the executive committee meeting represents as evidence of the mutual desire and serious commitment to continue enhancing cooperation, coordination, and bilateral integration at all levels, and the joint endeavor to push the paths of work and bilateral initiatives towards broader horizons under the wise guidance of the leaderships of the two brotherly countries.
During the meeting, the executive committee reviewed the annual performance report of the committees emanating from the Saudi-Bahraini Coordination Council for the years 2024-2025, and they were briefed on a visual presentation that included monitoring and measuring the performance of the targets and joint initiatives between the two countries, as well as the performance results of the relevant authorities during the implementation of their targets and joint initiatives.
The committee approved the timeline for the work of the council and its emanating committees during the years 2025-2026, in addition to directing the heads of the committees emanating from the council to work on completing the implementation of the agreed-upon initiatives.
At the end of the meeting, the minutes of the executive committee meeting were signed by the chairpersons of the committee.
The meeting was attended by the Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Nayef Al Sudairi, the Director General of the Minister of Foreign Affairs' Office, Walid Al Samahail, the Minister's Advisor, Mohammed Al Yahya, and the head of the Saudi side's working teams in the General Secretariat of the Saudi-Bahraini Coordination Council, Engineer Fahd Al Harithi.
