تحت رعاية أمير منطقة المدينة المنورة الأمير سلمان بن سلطان بن عبدالعزيز، يقام اليوم (الأربعاء)، وبحضور نخبة من العلماء والباحثين، وبمشاركة عدد من الجهات العلمية ذات الصلة، ملتقى الوفاء لذكرى الشيخ عبدالعزيز بن صالح آل صالح إمام وخطيب المسجد النبوي الشريف -يرحمه الله-، استحضاراً لجهوده في خدمة المسجد النبوي الشريف، وتعزيز رسالته الدينية والعلمية، والذي أجمع على حبه أهالي المدينة المنورة وشكل جزءاً من ذاكرتها.
وأكد رئيس الشؤون الدينية بالمسجد الحرام والمسجد النبوي، أن هذه الرعاية الكريمة من أمير المنطقة تجسّد ما يحظى به المسجد النبوي ورجالاته من عناية واهتمام، مشيداً بدور الملتقى في إبراز الجهود التاريخية والإسهامات العلمية التي كان لها الأثر البالغ في خدمة زائري المسجد النبوي.
بن صالح في سطور
* أحد أبرز العلماء والقضاة والأئمة في المملكة العربية السعودية في القرن الماضي، ويعرف بمكانته العلمية والقضائية والدينية الرفيعة، خصوصا في المدينة المنورة.
* حظي بثقة القيادة، وكان يُنظر إليه كرجل دين ودولة وعالِم وقاضٍ يُؤخذ برأيه ومشورته.* وُلد في مدينة المجمعة 1329هـ، وتوفي في 1415هـ، ودُفن في البقيع بالمدينة المنورة.
تقلّد عددا من المناصب المهمة التي جعلت منه شخصية ذات نفوذ وكلمة مسموعة في القضاء والشؤون الدينية.
* تولى الإمامة والخطابة في المسجد النبوي الشريف لأكثر من 40 عاماً.
* رئيسا لمحاكم المنطقة، ومرجعا في الشؤون الدينية والقضائية بالمدينة المنورة.
* عضوا في هيئة كبار العلماء السعودية.
* عضوا في مجلس القضاء الأعلى.
* مدرسا في المسجد النبوي الشريف.
