فاز الجناح السعودي المشارك في إكسبو (2025) أوساكا في أولمبياد التصميم التجريبي بجائزة أفضل جناح كبير، وأفضل هندسة معمارية خارجية في العالم.
وقال سفير خادم الحرمين لدى اليابان المفوض العام لجناح المملكة الدكتور غازي بن زقر: «يشرِّفنا الحصول على التكريم الدولي، والتكريم ليس محطة النهاية، بل يجدّد عزمنا وإحساسنا بالمسؤولية، ويُلهمنا لمواصلة مسيرتنا من خلال الثقافة والتصميم والاستدامة، وذلك لمشاركة قصة المملكة مع العالم، وتعزيز شراكاتنا الدولية، وتقديم تجارب دائمة تربط بين الناس، وترتقي بها، وتدوم للأجيال القادمة».
وجاء فوز الجناح السعودي خلال تكريم هيئة التصميم التجريبي لأبرز نماذج التصميم في إكسبو (2025) أوساكا، واستند التقييم إلى مستوى ابتكار التصميم، وتفاعل الزوار، وتأثير سرد القصص، والمساهمة العامة في روح المعارض العالمية.
واختارت الفائزين لجنة تحكيم دولية مكونة من 32 عضواً من المهندسين المعماريين المتميزين، والمصممين التجريبيين، والمتخصصين في الفعاليات.

The Saudi pavilion participating in Expo (2025) Osaka won the award for Best Large Pavilion and Best Exterior Architecture in the world at the Experimental Design Olympics.
His Excellency Dr. Ghazi bin Zaqr, the Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to Japan and the Commissioner General of the Kingdom's Pavilion, stated: "We are honored to receive this international recognition, and this honor is not the end of the road, but rather renews our determination and sense of responsibility, inspiring us to continue our journey through culture, design, and sustainability, to share the story of the Kingdom with the world, enhance our international partnerships, and provide lasting experiences that connect people, elevate them, and endure for future generations."
The Saudi pavilion's victory came during the recognition ceremony by the Experimental Design Authority for the most prominent design models at Expo (2025) Osaka. The evaluation was based on the level of design innovation, visitor interaction, storytelling impact, and overall contribution to the spirit of global exhibitions.
The winners were selected by an international jury consisting of 32 distinguished architects, experimental designers, and event specialists.
