شارك وزير الصحة فهد الجلاجل اليوم في أعمال الاجتماع الحادي عشر للجنة وزراء الصحة بدول مجلس التعاون لدول الخليج العربية، واجتماع مجلس وزراء الصحة الثامن والثمانين في دولة الكويت.
وأعرب الجلاجل عن شكره وتقديره لدولة الكويت الشقيقة على حفاوة الاستقبال وكرم الضيافة، مؤكداً أن هذه اللقاءات تجسد حرص قادة دول المجلس على تعزيز التكامل الصحي الخليجي، وتطوير الخدمات الصحية المقدمة للمستفيدين.
وأشار إلى أن الاجتماعات تمثل امتداداً للجهود الخليجية المشتركة، ومتابعة لما تحقق في اجتماع الدوحة العام الماضي، بهدف تعزيز الحضور الصحي لدول المجلس إقليمياً ودولياً، ودعم الشراكات الإستراتيجية مع المنظمات الصحية العالمية والإقليمية.
وأكد الجلاجل أهمية تعزيز التعاون الدولي وتبني الابتكار والتقنيات الحديثة، ومن ذلك الذكاء الاصطناعي، لتحسين جودة الخدمات الصحية، مشيراً إلى جهود دول المجلس في إطلاق جائزة الابتكار والتميز الصحي.
وناقشت الاجتماعات خطة عمل لجنة وزراء الصحة، إلى جانب مجموعة من الموضوعات الصحية، منها سبل تعزيز التكامل الصحي، وتطوير المدن الصحية الخليجية، إضافة إلى توحيد إجراءات التصنيف والتسجيل للتخصصات الصحية؛ بهدف مواصلة الجهود لتعزيز التكامل الصحي والتنمية المستدامة في دول المجلس.
وتؤكد مشاركة المملكة في هذه الاجتماعات التزامها بدورها الريادي في دعم الجهود الصحية الخليجية، وتعزيز التعاون الإقليمي في مجال الصحة بما يضمن استدامة تقديم الخدمات بجودة توافق أعلى المعايير العالمية.
Health Minister Fahd Al-Jalajel participated today in the eleventh meeting of the Health Ministers Committee of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries and the eighty-eighth meeting of the Council of Health Ministers in the State of Kuwait.
Al-Jalajel expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the sisterly State of Kuwait for the warm welcome and generous hospitality, affirming that these meetings embody the commitment of the leaders of the Council countries to enhance Gulf health integration and develop health services provided to beneficiaries.
He pointed out that the meetings represent an extension of the joint Gulf efforts and a follow-up to what was achieved in last year's Doha meeting, aiming to enhance the health presence of the Council countries regionally and internationally and support strategic partnerships with global and regional health organizations.
Al-Jalajel emphasized the importance of enhancing international cooperation and adopting innovation and modern technologies, including artificial intelligence, to improve the quality of health services, noting the Council countries' efforts in launching the Health Innovation and Excellence Award.
The meetings discussed the work plan of the Health Ministers Committee, along with a range of health topics, including ways to enhance health integration, develop Gulf health cities, and unify classification and registration procedures for health specialties; aiming to continue efforts to enhance health integration and sustainable development in the Council countries.
The Kingdom's participation in these meetings reaffirms its commitment to its leading role in supporting Gulf health efforts and enhancing regional cooperation in the health sector to ensure the sustainability of service delivery with quality that meets the highest global standards.
