استضاف البرنامج السعودي لتنمية وإعمار اليمن اجتماع مجموعة شركاء اليمن (YPG)، برئاسة مشتركة من المملكة المتحدة، ومكتب المنسق المقيم للأمم المتحدة في اليمن، ومجموعة البنك الدولي، وحضور وزير التخطيط والتعاون الدولي اليمني الدكتور واعد باذيب، والمنسق المقيم للأمم المتحدة منسق الشؤون الإنسانية في اليمن جوليان هارنيس، والسفيرة البريطانية لدى اليمن عبدة شريف، والسفير الألماني لدى اليمن توماس فريدريش، والسفير الياباني لدى اليمن يويتشي ناكاشيما، وعدد من ممثلي الدول والمنظمات الدولية والإقليمية؛ وذلك تعزيزا لجهود التنسيق والتعاون بين المانحين لدعم التنمية في الجمهورية اليمنية الشقيقة.
وقال وزير التخطيط والتعاون الدولي اليمني: «نثمّن ما قدمته المملكة العربية السعودية عبر البرنامج السعودي لتنمية وإعمار اليمن، وما أعلنته في سبتمبر 2025 عن تقديم دعم تنموي اقتصادي جديد للجمهورية اليمنية بقيمة 1.3 مليار ريال، حرصا من الأشقاء في المملكة على دعم اليمن اقتصاديا وتنمويا».
من جانبها، أشادت السفيرة البريطانية لدى اليمن عبدة شريف بدور المملكة العربية السعودية في دعم الاقتصاد اليمني وأهمية ما أعلنت عنه المملكة بتقديم دعم اقتصادي وتنموي لليمن في سبتمبر 2025، وبما يقدم من مشاريع ومبادرات تنموية عبر البرنامج السعودي لتنمية وإعمار اليمن.
كما أثنى مساعد المشرف العام على البرنامج السعودي لتنمية وإعمار اليمن رئيس قطاع المشاريع والبرامج التنموية المهندس حسن العطاس على جهود جميع الدول والجهات المشاركة، مؤكدا أهمية العمل التشاركي والتعاون البنّاء لتذليل التحديات، وتسريع التنمية في اليمن.
وجاءت استضافة البرنامج السعودي لتنمية وإعمار اليمن اجتماع مجموعة شركاء اليمن (YPG) للمرة الرابعة على التوالي، في مقره بمدينة الرياض، تعزيزًا للعمل التشاركي وتذليل مختلف التحديات في سبيل دفع عجلة التنمية في اليمن.

The Saudi Program for the Development and Reconstruction of Yemen hosted the Yemen Partners Group (YPG) meeting, co-chaired by the United Kingdom, the United Nations Resident Coordinator's Office in Yemen, and the World Bank Group, with the presence of the Yemeni Minister of Planning and International Cooperation, Dr. Waed Bazeeb, the UN Resident Coordinator and Humanitarian Coordinator in Yemen, Julian Harnis, the British Ambassador to Yemen, Abda Sharif, the German Ambassador to Yemen, Thomas Friedrich, the Japanese Ambassador to Yemen, Yuichi Nakashima, and several representatives from countries and international and regional organizations; this is to enhance coordination and cooperation efforts among donors to support development in the sisterly Republic of Yemen.
The Yemeni Minister of Planning and International Cooperation stated: “We appreciate what the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has provided through the Saudi Program for the Development and Reconstruction of Yemen, and what was announced in September 2025 regarding the provision of new economic development support to the Republic of Yemen amounting to 1.3 billion riyals, reflecting the brothers' commitment in the Kingdom to support Yemen economically and developmentally.”
For her part, the British Ambassador to Yemen, Abda Sharif, praised the role of Saudi Arabia in supporting the Yemeni economy and the importance of what the Kingdom announced regarding economic and developmental support for Yemen in September 2025, along with the projects and developmental initiatives provided through the Saudi Program for the Development and Reconstruction of Yemen.
The Assistant General Supervisor of the Saudi Program for the Development and Reconstruction of Yemen, Head of the Development Projects and Programs Sector, Engineer Hassan Al-Attas, also praised the efforts of all participating countries and entities, emphasizing the importance of collaborative work and constructive cooperation to overcome challenges and accelerate development in Yemen.
The hosting of the Saudi Program for the Development and Reconstruction of Yemen for the Yemen Partners Group (YPG) meeting for the fourth consecutive time at its headquarters in Riyadh is aimed at enhancing collaborative work and overcoming various challenges to drive the development momentum in Yemen.
