تمكنت أمانة محافظة جدة من استعادة 15,233,220 مترا مربعا من الأراضي الحكومية في نطاق بلدية ذهبان الفرعية، بعد تحريرها من 120 حظيرة عشوائية، في إطار جهودها لمنع التعديات على الممتلكات العامة، ومعالجة الظواهر السلبية وتحسين المشهد الحضري.
وأوضح رئيس بلدية ذهبان المهندس عبدالله المباركي، أن الفرق الرقابية في البلدية وبمشاركة لجنة مراقبة عقارات الدولة وإزالة التعديات، شرعت خلال الأسبوع الجاري في أعمال إزالة 120 حظيرة مخالفة بحي ذهبان الشرقي، ضمن حملة استمرّت لثلاثة أيام، مدعومة بالأفراد والآليات، مشيرا إلى أن هذه الجهود أسهمت في استعادة مساحة كبيرة من الأراضي الحكومية، والقضاء على أحد مظاهر التشوه البصري في المدينة.
وتؤكد أمانة جدة استمرار جهودها في تعزيز الرقابة البلدية، لحماية الممتلكات العامة، والحد من الممارسات العشوائية، إلى جانب تحسين المشهد الحضري والبيئي، بما يسهم في الرقي بجودة الحياة للسكان والزائرين.
The Jeddah Municipality was able to recover 15,233,220 square meters of government land within the scope of the Dhahban sub-municipality, after clearing it of 120 random enclosures, as part of its efforts to prevent encroachments on public property, address negative phenomena, and improve the urban landscape.
The head of the Dhahban Municipality, Engineer Abdullah Al-Mubarak, explained that the monitoring teams in the municipality, in collaboration with the State Property Monitoring Committee and the removal of encroachments, began this week the removal of 120 illegal enclosures in the eastern Dhahban neighborhood, as part of a campaign that lasted for three days, supported by personnel and machinery. He pointed out that these efforts contributed to recovering a large area of government land and eliminating one of the visual distortion aspects in the city.
The Jeddah Municipality confirms its ongoing efforts to enhance municipal oversight to protect public property, curb random practices, and improve the urban and environmental landscape, contributing to elevating the quality of life for residents and visitors.
