أكدت نائب وزير التعليم الدكتورة إيناس سليمان العيسى، خلال مشاركتها في مؤتمر الاستثمار الثقافي، أن التعليم الثقافي في المملكة يقوم على توازن يجمع بين وضوح السياسات والتخطيط السليم من جهة، وبين إتاحة المجال للإبداع والخيال والطاقة التي يوفرها السوق من جهة أخرى، مشيرة إلى أن هذا التوازن يمثّل أساس التطوير المستقبلي للقطاع.
وأوضحت أن وزارة التعليم، بالتعاون مع وزارة الثقافة، عملت على إدماج المناهج الثقافية والفنية ضمن النظام التعليمي، إلى جانب إصلاحات تنظيمية في القطاعات التقنية والتعليمية أسهمت في تسريع تراخيص الأكاديميات الجديدة، مضيفة أن المواهب الفنية أصبحت معترفاً بها ضمن الإطار الوطني لرعاية الموهوبين والمبدعين.
وبيّنت أن الجامعات السعودية أطلقت حتى الآن 49 برنامجاً دراسياً في مجالات ثقافية متعددة، إلى جانب 18 كلية متخصصة في الثقافة، كما دعمت ريادة الأعمال الإبداعية لتحويل أفكار الطلاب إلى مشاريع وفرص عمل. وأشارت إلى أن برنامج الابتعاث الثقافي يضم أكثر من 500 طالب وطالبة يدرسون في الخارج؛ منهم 130 مبتعثاً في أرقى 30 مؤسسة أكاديمية حول العالم.
وأضافت نائبة وزير التعليم أن المسابقة الوطنية للمواهب جذبت أكثر من مليون طالب وطالبة؛ أي ما يعادل ضعف المعدل العالمي للمشاركة الطلابية، ما يعكس حجم الشغف والإقبال لدى الطلبة السعوديين، مؤكدةً أن هذه المؤشرات تضع المملكة في موقع متقدم كمركز إقليمي للتعليم الثقافي وتنمية المواهب، بما يضمن توفير قيمة طويلة المدى، وقوى عاملة ماهرة، واقتصاد إبداعي مزدهر، وبيئة جاذبة للاستثمارات المحلية والدولية.
وشددت نائب وزير التعليم على أن الثقافة تمثِّل جوهر رؤية المملكة 2030، واصفة إياها بـ«الخيط الذهبي» الذي يربط التعليم بالرياضة والاقتصاد، «عندما تُدمج الثقافة في المدارس والجامعات، فإن الطلاب لا يثرون فرصهم التعليمية فحسب، بل يطورون مواهبهم وإبداعاتهم، ويصبحون مواطنين عالميين راسخين في هويتهم الوطنية. ففصولنا الدراسية ليست أماكن للكتب والامتحانات فقط، بل ساحات لتنمية المهارات، وعندما تجتمع الرياضة والثقافة فإننا نُعد أفراداً متكاملين قادرين على المنافسة محلياً وعالمياً».
واختتمت العيسى بالتأكيد على أن التعليم يمثّل الأساس، والرياضة تمنح الحضور، والاقتصاد يوفر الحجم والتوسع، بينما الثقافة تعطي لكل ذلك المعنى والقيمة، بما يحول الأصول الثقافية إلى وظائف وفرص واستثمارات ذات قدرة تنافسية عالمية.

The Deputy Minister of Education, Dr. Inas Suleiman Al-Essa, confirmed during her participation in the Cultural Investment Conference that cultural education in the Kingdom is based on a balance that combines clear policies and sound planning on one hand, and the provision of space for creativity, imagination, and the energy that the market offers on the other hand. She pointed out that this balance represents the foundation for the future development of the sector.
She clarified that the Ministry of Education, in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture, has worked on integrating cultural and artistic curricula into the educational system, alongside organizational reforms in the technical and educational sectors that have contributed to accelerating the licensing of new academies. She added that artistic talents have become recognized within the national framework for nurturing gifted and creative individuals.
She indicated that Saudi universities have launched 49 academic programs in various cultural fields so far, in addition to 18 specialized colleges in culture. They have also supported creative entrepreneurship to transform students' ideas into projects and job opportunities. She noted that the cultural scholarship program includes more than 500 male and female students studying abroad, of whom 130 are scholarship recipients at the top 30 academic institutions worldwide.
The Deputy Minister of Education added that the national talent competition attracted more than one million students, which is equivalent to double the global average for student participation, reflecting the level of passion and interest among Saudi students. She emphasized that these indicators position the Kingdom as an advanced center for cultural education and talent development, ensuring the provision of long-term value, a skilled workforce, a thriving creative economy, and an attractive environment for local and international investments.
The Deputy Minister of Education stressed that culture represents the essence of Saudi Vision 2030, describing it as the "golden thread" that connects education, sports, and the economy. "When culture is integrated into schools and universities, students not only enrich their educational opportunities but also develop their talents and creativity, becoming global citizens firmly rooted in their national identity. Our classrooms are not just places for books and exams, but arenas for skill development. When sports and culture come together, we prepare well-rounded individuals capable of competing locally and globally."
Al-Essa concluded by affirming that education represents the foundation, sports provide presence, the economy offers scale and expansion, while culture gives all of this meaning and value, transforming cultural assets into jobs, opportunities, and investments with global competitive capability.
