أصدر المركز الوطني للأرصاد تقريره عن حالة الطقس اليوم (السبت)، وأشار فيه إلى استمرار هطول أمطار رعدية متوسطة إلى غزيرة تؤدي إلى جريان السيول مصحوبة بزخات من البرد ورياح نشطة على منطقة عسير، وتكون خفيفة إلى متوسطة على مناطق جازان، الباحة، مكة المكرمة، ولا يستبعد تكوّن الضباب على مرتفعات تلك المناطق، كذلك على المنطقة الشرقية، والفرصة مهيأة لتشكل السحب الرعدية الممطرة على الأجزاء الشمالية منها، كذلك على منطقتي الرياض والقصيم، كما تنشط الرياح السطحية المثيرة للأتربة والغبار على الأجزاء الساحلية من جنوب غرب المملكة.
سرعة الرياح
وأشار التقرير إلى أن حركة الرياح السطحية على البحر الأحمر ستكون شمالية غربية إلى شمالية بسرعة 20-40 كم/ساعة تصل إلى أكثر من 50 كم/ساعة مع تشكل السحب الرعدية الممطرة على الجزء الجنوبي، وارتفاع الموج من متر إلى مترين يصل إلى أعلى من مترين ونصف مع تشكل السحب الرعدية الممطرة على الجزء الجنوبي، وحالة البحر خفيف إلى متوسط الموج يصل إلى مائج مع تشكل السحب الرعدية الممطرة على الجزء الجنوبي.
أما حركة الرياح السطحية على الخليج العربي ستكون جنوبية شرقية إلى شمالية شرقية بسرعة 15-30 كم/ساعة، وارتفاع الموج من نصف المتر إلى متر ونصف، وحالة البحر خفيف إلى متوسط الموج.
The National Center of Meteorology issued its weather report for today (Saturday), indicating that medium to heavy thunderstorms will continue, leading to flash floods, accompanied by showers of hail and active winds in the Asir region. Light to moderate rain is expected in the Jazan, Al-Baha, and Makkah regions, and fog formation is not ruled out in the highlands of those areas, as well as in the Eastern region. There is also a possibility of thunderstorm clouds forming over the northern parts of these regions, as well as in the Riyadh and Qassim regions. Additionally, surface winds that stir up dust and sand will be active along the coastal parts of the southwestern region of the Kingdom.
Wind Speed
The report indicated that the surface wind movement over the Red Sea will be northwesterly to northerly at a speed of 20-40 km/h, reaching more than 50 km/h with the formation of thunderstorm clouds in the southern part. Wave heights will range from one to two meters, reaching more than two and a half meters with the formation of thunderstorm clouds in the southern part. The sea condition will be light to moderate, becoming choppy with the formation of thunderstorm clouds in the southern part.
As for the surface wind movement over the Arabian Gulf, it will be southeasterly to northeasterly at a speed of 15-30 km/h, with wave heights ranging from half a meter to one and a half meters, and the sea condition will be light to moderate.
