أكد مدير عام المركز الوطني للدراسات والبحوث الاجتماعية الدكتور علي بن عطية آل جابر، أهمية توظيف التقنيات الإعلامية الحديثة والوسائط الرقمية في دعم التنمية الاجتماعية وتعزيز أثر المبادرات والبرامج التنموية.
جاء ذلك خلال مشاركة آل جابر في أعمال ملتقى «استثمار التقنيات الإعلامية في التنمية الاجتماعية»، الذي نظمته جامعة الملك فيصل بالأحساء، بمشاركة نخبة من المختصين والباحثين والمهتمين بالشأن الاجتماعي والتنموي، خلال الجلسة العلمية «التقنية للتنمية.. رؤية اجتماعية».
واستعرض مدير عام المركزفي الجلسة العلمية الرئيسة «التقنية للتنمية.. رؤية اجتماعية» عدداً من التجارب والممارسات التي يعمل عليها المركز في توظيف التقنيات الحديثة، من بينها «المرصد الاجتماعي» الذي يسهم في رصد نبض المجتمع والتعرف على اهتماماته واتجاهاته، إلى جانب «المختبر الاجتماعي» الذي يعمل على تحويل المعرفة والبيانات إلى قيمة مضافة تعزز جودة الممارسات والقرارات الاجتماعية.
وتناول آل جابر أهمية قياس أثر السياسات والبرامج الاجتماعية، والاستفادة من الأدوات والمنهجيات الحديثة في تقييم نتائجها، بما يسهم في رفع كفاءة المبادرات وتعظيم أثرها على الفرد والأسرة والمجتمع.
وشدد على أهمية تعزيز التكامل بين الجهات الحكومية والبحثية والأكاديمية ومؤسسات القطاعين الخاص وغير الربحي، وتوسيع مجالات الشراكة وتبادل المعرفة والخبرات؛ بما يدعم منظومة البحث الاجتماعي، ويسهم في تطوير حلول أكثر فاعلية للقضايا الاجتماعية والتنموية.
وتأتي مشاركة المركز في الملتقى بوصفه شريكاً علمياً، امتداداً لدوره في دعم البحث الاجتماعي وتطوير أدواته، وتعزيز حضور المعرفة والابتكار والتقنيات الحديثة في معالجة القضايا الاجتماعية، بما يساهم في تحقيق مستهدفات رؤية السعودية 2030.
The Director General of the National Center for Social Studies and Research, Dr. Ali bin Atiyah Al-Jaber, emphasized the importance of employing modern media technologies and digital platforms to support social development and enhance the impact of developmental initiatives and programs.
This came during Al-Jaber's participation in the activities of the forum "Investing in Media Technologies for Social Development," organized by King Faisal University in Al-Ahsa, with the participation of a select group of specialists, researchers, and those interested in social and developmental issues, during the scientific session "Technology for Development... A Social Vision."
The Director General presented in the main scientific session "Technology for Development... A Social Vision" several experiences and practices that the center is working on in utilizing modern technologies, including the "Social Observatory," which contributes to monitoring the pulse of the community and understanding its interests and trends, alongside the "Social Laboratory," which works on transforming knowledge and data into added value that enhances the quality of social practices and decisions.
Al-Jaber discussed the importance of measuring the impact of social policies and programs, and benefiting from modern tools and methodologies in evaluating their results, which contributes to improving the efficiency of initiatives and maximizing their impact on individuals, families, and communities.
He stressed the importance of enhancing integration between government, research, and academic entities, as well as private and non-profit sector institutions, and expanding areas of partnership and knowledge exchange; to support the social research system and contribute to developing more effective solutions to social and developmental issues.
The center's participation in the forum comes as a scientific partner, extending its role in supporting social research and developing its tools, and enhancing the presence of knowledge, innovation, and modern technologies in addressing social issues, contributing to achieving the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.
