دشَّن أمير منطقة عسير الأمير تركي بن طلال بن عبدالعزيز، اليوم، مبادرة «عسير تقتدي» للتبرع بالدم التي تشرف على تنفيذها إمارة منطقة عسير، وذلك اقتداءً بنهج ولي العهد رئيس مجلس الوزراء الأمير محمد بن سلمان بن عبدالعزيز في ترسيخ القيم الوطنية والإنسانية، وتعزيز ثقافة البذل والعطاء.
وأوضح أمير منطقة عسير أن المبادرة تجسد ما يتسم به أبناء الوطن من تكافل وتراحم، مؤكدًا أن التبرع بالدم يُعد واجبًا وطنيًا يسهم في إنقاذ الأرواح ودعم القطاع الصحي، ويعكس في الوقت ذاته التلاحم المجتمعي والوعي بأهمية العطاء.
وتهدف المبادرة إلى رفع نسبة التبرع الطوعي بالدم إلى 100% تحقيقًا لمستهدفات رؤية المملكة 2030، وتعزيز الوعي المجتمعي بأهمية التبرع بالدم، ودعم الجهود الوطنية في القطاع الصحي، وتحقيق الاكتفاء الذاتي من الدم ومكوناته، إضافةً إلى ترسيخ قيمة التبرع بصفته عملًا إنسانيًا يسهم في إنقاذ الأرواح، وبناء مجتمع صحي حيوي ومتكامل.
وتأتي المبادرة في سياق منظومة متكاملة تُجسّد رباعية القيم التي تتضمن الصدق في تعزيز الثقة والمسؤولية، ليكون التبرع بالدم انعكاسًا لوفاء الإنسان بعطائه، والتسامح في ترسيخ معاني التكافل والتراحم، إذ يُمثل التبرع بالدم لغة إنسانية تتجاوز الحدود، والانضباط عبر التنظيم والالتزام في تنفيذ المبادرات، بما يضمن استدامة واستمرارية العطاء، والانتماء حين يترجم المواطن ولاءه واعتزازه بوطنه من خلال مبادرات عملية تُسهم في حفظ حياة الآخرين.

The Prince of Asir Region, Prince Turki bin Talal bin Abdulaziz, today launched the "Asir Follows" blood donation initiative, which is overseen by the Asir Region Emirate. This initiative is inspired by the approach of Crown Prince and Prime Minister Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz in instilling national and humanitarian values and promoting a culture of giving and generosity.
The Prince of Asir Region explained that the initiative embodies the solidarity and compassion characteristic of the nation's people, emphasizing that blood donation is a national duty that contributes to saving lives and supporting the healthcare sector, while also reflecting community cohesion and awareness of the importance of giving.
The initiative aims to raise the percentage of voluntary blood donations to 100% in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030, enhance community awareness of the importance of blood donation, support national efforts in the healthcare sector, and achieve self-sufficiency in blood and its components. Additionally, it seeks to establish the value of donation as a humanitarian act that contributes to saving lives and building a healthy, vibrant, and integrated community.
The initiative comes as part of an integrated system that embodies a quartet of values, including honesty in promoting trust and responsibility, making blood donation a reflection of a person's commitment to giving, and tolerance in instilling the meanings of solidarity and compassion. Blood donation represents a humanitarian language that transcends borders, while discipline is reflected in the organization and commitment to implementing initiatives, ensuring the sustainability and continuity of giving, and belonging is expressed when citizens translate their loyalty and pride in their country through practical initiatives that contribute to preserving the lives of others.
