المجلس الأوروبي يُثمِّن مبادرات المملكة في دعم سلام الشرق الأوسط

European Council President Antonio Costa expressed his gratitude to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Republic of France for their initiative in bringing the international community together when he described it as a "critical moment for peace in the Middle East."

He emphasized in his speech before the United Nations General Assembly that the humanitarian situation in Gaza has reached an unprecedented catastrophic level, calling for urgent action from the international community to stop the bleeding in the region.

He also affirmed that the region has suffered for many years from wars, violence, terrorism, and loss of life, strongly condemning the ongoing Israeli military operations in Gaza and the escalating tensions in the West Bank, demanding an immediate ceasefire, ensuring the unhindered and safe delivery of humanitarian aid, as well as the immediate and unconditional release of all hostages.
