التقى المستشار بالديوان الملكي المشرف العام على مركز الملك سلمان للإغاثة والأعمال الإنسانية الدكتور عبدالله بن عبدالعزيز الربيعة اليوم، المدير التنفيذي لمنظمة الأمم المتحدة للطفولة «اليونيسيف» كاثرين راسل، وذلك على هامش أعمال الجمعية العامة للأمم المتحدة في دورتها الثمانين المنعقدة في مدينة نيويورك.
وبحث الجانبان خلال اللقاء مستجدات المشاريع الإنسانية والإغاثية المشتركة بينهما؛ لدعم فئة الأطفال حول العالم، وتقديم شتى أنواع العون الإنساني الأساسي لهم.
وأشادت كاثرين راسل بالجهود الإغاثية والإنسانية التي تقدمها المملكة عبر مركز الملك سلمان للإغاثة؛ لمساعدة فئة الأطفال في الدول ذات الاحتياج التي تسهم في تحسين حياتهم وتنمية مستقبل مشرق لهم.
The advisor at the Royal Court, the General Supervisor of the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center, Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Rabiah, met today with the Executive Director of the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF), Catherine Russell, on the sidelines of the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly held in New York City.
During the meeting, both sides discussed the latest developments in the humanitarian and relief projects they are jointly undertaking to support children around the world and to provide various types of essential humanitarian aid to them.
Catherine Russell praised the humanitarian and relief efforts provided by the Kingdom through the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center to assist children in needy countries, contributing to improving their lives and developing a bright future for them.
