استقبل الرئيس التنفيذي للهيئة العامة للغذاء والدواء الدكتور هشام بن سعد الجضعي، في مقر الهيئة الرئيس بمدينة الرياض، اليوم، وزير الصحة في الجمهورية العربية السورية مصعب نزال العلي والوفد المرافق له.
وبُحثت خلال اللقاء أوجه التعاون المشترك في تطوير القدرات الفنية والعلمية، بما يشمل بناء شراكات إستراتيجية مع الجانب السوري في مجالات عدة، منها تطوير التشريعات والتنظيمات الرقابية للأجهزة والمستلزمات الطبية، وتنظيم برامج تدريبية وورش عمل متخصصة، إلى جانب تبادل الخبرات والمعلومات حول الأنظمة والمعايير الرقابية في الغذاء والدواء.
ويأتي هذا التعاون امتدادا لجهود «الغذاء والدواء» في تعزيز شراكاتها مع الجهات ذات العلاقة في الدول العربية، بما يسهم في رفع كفاءة الكوادر البشرية وتطوير الأنظمة الرقابية ودعم منظومة السلامة لحماية المستهلك في مجالي الغذاء والدواء.
The CEO of the Saudi Food and Drug Authority, Dr. Hisham bin Saad Al-Jad'i, received today at the Authority's headquarters in Riyadh, the Minister of Health of the Syrian Arab Republic, Musab Nazzal Al-Ali, along with his accompanying delegation.
During the meeting, aspects of joint cooperation were discussed in developing technical and scientific capabilities, including building strategic partnerships with the Syrian side in several areas, such as developing regulations and oversight frameworks for medical devices and supplies, organizing specialized training programs and workshops, in addition to exchanging expertise and information regarding regulatory systems and standards in food and drug.
This cooperation comes as an extension of the efforts of the "Food and Drug Authority" to enhance its partnerships with relevant entities in Arab countries, contributing to raising the efficiency of human resources, developing regulatory systems, and supporting the safety framework to protect consumers in the fields of food and drug.
