بمتابعة من أمير منطقة حائل الأمير عبدالعزيز بن سعد بن عبدالعزيز، حققت جامعة حائل إنجازًا علميًا بارزًا تمثل في ارتفاع عدد باحثيها المدرجين ضمن قائمة النخبة (أعلى 2% من علماء العالم) وفق تصنيف جامعة ستانفورد، ليصل العدد إلى 30 باحثًا في 2025، بعد أن كان 22 في العام الماضي، و17 في 2023.
