أشادت منظمة التعاون الاقتصادي والتنمية (OECD) بالجهود الرائدة التي تبذلها المملكة العربية السعودية في مجال الذكاء الاصطناعي، منوهةً بالجهود التي تبذلها الهيئة السعودية للبيانات والذكاء الاصطناعي «سدايا» في توظيف تقنيات البيانات والذكاء الاصطناعي ودعم حوكمة استخداماتها في المملكة.
جاء ذلك في تقرير المنظمة الذي صدر حديثًا بعنوان «الحوكمة بالذكاء الاصطناعي»، وسلّطت الضوء فيه على ما حققته المملكة من منجزات في مختلف التقنيات والمبادرات الرقمية التي عملت عليها من أجل تمكين الجهات الحكومية رقميًا، ومن ذلك ما تقوم به المنصة الوطنية للحوسبة السحابية «ديم» التي طوّرتها الهيئة السعودية للبيانات والذكاء الاصطناعي «سدايا».
وأوضحت المنظمة أن منصة «ديم» تمثل نموذجًا عالميًا في توحيد البنية التحتية الرقمية، حيث تجمع أكثر من (190) جهة حكومية وأكثر من (260) مركز بيانات ضمن بيئة آمنة وفعالة، وأسهمت في رفع كفاءة العمليات الحكومية وتقليص التكاليف، بما يعزز من قدرة المملكة على تنفيذ إستراتيجياتها الرقمية الوطنية.
تعزيز جودة الحياة وتطوير المدن الذكية
وعرّجت المنظمة في تقريرها على إطلاق «سدايا» للنموذج اللغوي الضخم «علّام» (ALLAM)، الذي يُعَد الأكبر من نوعه في مجال اللغة العربية، بفضل تدريبه على (500) مليار رمز وأكثر من (300) ألف نص عربي من الموسوعات والأبحاث العلمية والأعمال التاريخية، مؤكدة أنه يعد إنجازًا نوعيًا في الحفاظ على الهوية اللغوية العربية وإبراز غناها العلمي والثقافي في تطبيقات الذكاء الاصطناعي عالميًا.
وتناولت جهود «سدايا» التي تبذلها من خلال نظام (Smart-C) الداعم للتخطيط الحضري واتخاذ القرار اللحظي، عبر توظيف أدوات متقدمة لمحاكاة حركة المرور، والمراقبة البيئية، والكشف عن التلوث البصري بالذكاء الاصطناعي، بما يسهم في تعزيز جودة الحياة وتطوير المدن الذكية في المملكة.
وأكدت منظمة (OECD) أن هذه المبادرات تعكس الدور الريادي للمملكة في توظيف تقنيات البيانات والذكاء الاصطناعي لتعزيز كفاءة العمل الحكومي، وتحقيق وفورات اقتصادية، وتحسين جودة الخدمات المقدمة للمواطنين والمقيمين، مشيرة إلى أن التجربة السعودية تمثل أحد أبرز النماذج الدولية الملهمة في مجال الحوكمة الذكاء الاصطناعي والاستخدام الموثوق للتقنيات الناشئة.
The Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) praised the pioneering efforts made by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the field of artificial intelligence, highlighting the efforts of the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA) in employing data and AI technologies and supporting the governance of their uses in the Kingdom.
This was mentioned in the organization's recently released report titled "Governance with Artificial Intelligence," which shed light on the achievements of the Kingdom in various technologies and digital initiatives aimed at enabling government entities digitally, including what the national cloud computing platform "DREAM" developed by SDAIA is doing.
The organization clarified that the "DREAM" platform represents a global model for unifying digital infrastructure, as it brings together more than 190 government entities and over 260 data centers within a secure and efficient environment, contributing to enhancing the efficiency of government operations and reducing costs, thereby strengthening the Kingdom's ability to implement its national digital strategies.
Enhancing Quality of Life and Developing Smart Cities
The organization also touched upon SDAIA's launch of the massive language model "ALLAM," which is considered the largest of its kind in the Arabic language, thanks to its training on 500 billion tokens and more than 300,000 Arabic texts from encyclopedias, scientific research, and historical works. It affirmed that this is a qualitative achievement in preserving the Arabic linguistic identity and highlighting its scientific and cultural richness in global AI applications.
The report discussed SDAIA's efforts through the (Smart-C) system, which supports urban planning and real-time decision-making by employing advanced tools for traffic simulation, environmental monitoring, and visual pollution detection using AI, contributing to enhancing quality of life and developing smart cities in the Kingdom.
The OECD confirmed that these initiatives reflect the Kingdom's pioneering role in employing data and AI technologies to enhance the efficiency of government work, achieve economic savings, and improve the quality of services provided to citizens and residents, noting that the Saudi experience represents one of the most prominent international inspiring models in the field of AI governance and the reliable use of emerging technologies.
